Belpre Lady Eagles come from behind to pull off another TVC win vs Wellston 7 - 5,
Junior Taylor Mason took the hill for another TVC game and did the yomans job again . . .Sophmore Natalie Perry closed out the game with a great performance. . as the bats for the eagles came alive and found some holes and rallied from a 5 to 1 deficit to overcome the rockets with a 6 - 0 run to win. . . nice job ladies and good luck on thursday at nelsonville. . . .

Belpre Lady Eagles rack up another TVC win vs Nelsonville 12 - 0 , way to go Eagles, Junior Taylor Mason took the hill with a dominating performance with 4 shut out innings before Junior Regina Leftwich closed with a three up three down 5th to end the game. . . .all nine starters as well as a couple of the subs touched the bases. . .way to go ladies. . . .good luck as u head to Warren for a DH on saturday . . . .

I was able to watch many of Belpre's players a few years ago with the Fury. I have enjoyed following their progression into high school ball. Saturdays DH at Warren will pit many girls who have played together with the Fury at some time in the past. Should be a great day of softball.

Errors, Errors, Errors, plague Lady eagles who on a 3 game skid hope to change things tonight as they travel to miller. . . . Junior Taylor Mason took the hill and did another great job but the defense behind her struggled again to field some routine balls to close out the game that went 8 innings. . .Belpre who lead 5 - 3 tks to some timely hits by SS Junior Regina Leftwich, who drove one deep right field for a triple and stole home before the play was over as the athens catcher left the plate unguarded, n Sophmore Natalie Perry reached on a single followed up by a line shot back up the middle for a stand up double by Leftwich which scored Perry, in the bottom of the 6th the error bug got'm Athens tied it up. . .tied 5-5 belpre failed to score in the 8th and Athens who's first batter reached on a very close play at first that could've went either way, but next batter left no doubt as she drove one to the right field fence scoring her teammate for the win. . .congrats to Athens who didn't quit but knew they escaped this one with a win. . .Lets go Lady Eagles vs Miller this evening . . .

wildbill24 they played at Athens yesterday, scheduled changed due to they came here for our first meeting because their field wasn't ready. . .all Belpre softball and baseball games r played at civitan park. . .

Well folks had a crazy one tonight. . . questionable calls, fan tossed, umps disgruntled, team pulled, not sure how this one will pan out but Lady Eagles were ahead 5 - 2 top of the sixth when fed hock called it. . . . .

Lady Eagles win in 5 innings. 10 - 0 vs Vinton last night, Junior Taylor Mason had a very good performance and helped her cause at the plate with a blast that banged off left center field fence. . .driving in her counterpart junior Regina Leftwich who also had a 3 bagger during the contest. . senior Brandi Fitch played some cat and mouse while on third and an erand throw allowd her to score. . . defensively Fitch to Leftwich on a steal attempt that was foiled . . in later innings coach Cox moved some folks around and Junior Amber Lockhart looked like an allstar in center field. . . Vinton did turn a very nice double play in this contest but just came up short tonight. . .Way to go eagles lets get Alexander tonight. . .Good Luck . . .

Tough night for lady eagles as the spartans come in and took batting practice this evening as belpre falls 16 - 5 . with this loss don't see anyone catching Athens for the TVC, yet another year of disappointment for some Eagle softball players who work year round trying to get a TVC title for coach Cox and just seem to come up just a bit short, last year seniors had a shot to lead to a TVC title came up short but did win sectionals and had a real shot at districts, this year only one senior but still had a very good shot at the TVC but looks like will fall short again, hopefully next years senior class will be the one to get it done for coach Cox, extra practice, practice, practice, practice, extra repetition, repetition, repetition, more than a few grounders, a few fly balls, and a few at bats, and we're out a here. could bring a TVC title to Belpre . . . . . Junior Taylor Mason took the hill and just didn't have much defense behind her, though credit Alexander they did put the ball in play and belpre just couldn't find any outs as they found themselves down 7 - 0 in the top of the first and alex never looked back. . . .only few bright spots were Juniors Amber Lockhart as she played centerfield and track several fly balls down on a sprint which could have added to the Spartan tally and Regina Leftwich turned a double play and had several put outs, Sophmore Ayden Wilson caught a deep fly ball too,. . . just not enough "D" to stop Alexander tonight, congrats to Spartans they played inspired ball while Belpre had a lack luster performance tonight, not to slight Alex's win but belpre did have two starters out of the lineup and we travel to Alexander on Monday for a rematch weather permitting to see if we can get this one back. . . good luck eagles . . . .

Lady Eagles win 8-4 over Meigs last night . . Junior Taylor Mason racks up another TVC win for the eagles and Sophmore Natalie Perry came in for the save. Sophmore Brittany McNabb did a real nice job moving from the outfield to 3b and freshman Ayden Wilson had some really nice catches in CF to hold of Meigs in last nights contest. Good luck tonight as Waterford comes to town looking to return the loss the Lady Eagles handed them at their place . . .

Belpre gets 14th win over Waterford this evening 5 - 2, Junior Regina Leftwich took the hill and did a super job with multiple K's each inning and sophmore Natalie Perry came in to close out the game and seal the win for Belpre . . . .Waterford pitcher kept belpre hitters off balance all game as they rang up 5 unearned runs on a few hits . . . tomorrows game with Wellston has been cancelled . . . .
