I would say no, sounds like this reporter doesn't know what he is talking about he doesn't even have the school Barnes is currently at right. He is at SP not the Peake!
Plus I seriously doubt it he probably doesn't want to move his kids again!

How many seniors did SP lose this year?, if it is going to be a sub-par year in Pointer land next year, I could see this happening, however I would imagine Randy Ward would be Boyd County's first selection, but maybe Boyd County wants to go young for the rebuilding job. I guess we will just have to set back and watch it all unfold.

As a fan of Boyd County - my sister went there for 4 years and is a graduate of Boyd County - I don't want Ward anywhere near the school.

Boyd County needs a good coach to turn that program around.......for many years, when Roger Zornes was there, they dominated the 16th Region........now, BC has fallen apart.......whoever is the next coach has a big job ahead of him.

This is all just speculation on Maynard's part. He knows no more about who BC is looking at than I do. He is just throwing out names of area coaches whom he thinks MIGHT have an interest.
Zornes went back there a couple of years ago but I suspect he didn't for-see any talent in the near future an decided it was not want he wanted to do.
