Who takes care of the field and gets it ready for home games...post ur team n person..n if ur lookin for someone....ive did it at southern for 4 years now by myself...n helped out for two years before that but i havent heard anything on whether im doin it or not....ive also videoed for 4 years now...n did basketball for two years before that...

Lancaster High School employees a full time guy who takes care of all athletic fields year round. They also have a horticulture class that assists in the fall with painting lines and prepping the field on fridays for home games.

Me and the head coach took care of the field back when I coached at Southern. The field always looked great when we did it. It hasn't been the same since then though.

I usually dont say much during games because none of the head coaches I worked for would listen to me. If they did, we would have won the state at least 3 times at Eastern.

Can`t see how painting & mowing the field would have helped win the state title, unless you told all the boy`s where the holes were !! lol
