top 12 teams in south east ohio after week 3 what are yours
Re: top 12 teams in south east ohio after week 3 what are yo
And how do you put Gallia Academy ahead of Ironton?
Re: top 12 teams in south east ohio after week 3 what are yo
The outcome of the JHS/Warren game could obviously effect the order of my top 12. I believe Jackson will win by 17+ and my rankings reflect that. If the outcome is different then things will change.Ironman92 wrote:How can you do this not knowing the Jackson/Warren outcome?

Plus he put Burg ahead of Ironton even though it was a blowout.Ironman92 wrote:And how do you put Gallia Academy ahead of Ironton?

Have you been following any of the games this year? Ironton has beaten both Burg and GAHS, that has to factor in your rankingsbuckeyeguy wrote:1 SHERIDAN

Not having Logan Elm in a top 10 of the SE District is just not possible.

Bucks,
I also wouldn't rate westfall ahead of LE, as LE beat them by 29.

I always enjoy reading the various opinions in these "polls". Although they are based on the SE District as a whole, the overwhelming majority are always geographically based to the "pollster's" general area, with teams from further distances (other leagues that have few if any opponents in common ever) just kind of being tossed in to fill slots. I honestly have no idea how to rank all the teams from the entire SE District. My own personal bias, being a life-long SOC guy, wants me to say that teams like West and Valley could play with any team in the SE District. At the same time, I've not seen NY, Athens, Sheridan, Logan Elm, Jackson, etc play in person. This topic all by itself lends plenty of insight to the questions/comments on the AP Poll thread. Even the "mighty" (hahaha) State AP Poll is such a geographical, buddy system based joke that it entertains me each week. God bless all of you for throwing in your two cents and ranking the "Top 12" in SE Ohio. Obviously these things are all in good fun and they are definitely fun to read. It does stink sometimes that people get a little bent out of shape over someone else's "poll" placement of various teams. I think these things are far too much fun to read to ever get bent out of shape over them.
Good luck to each and every team in Southeastern Ohio this weekend and every weekend remaining through the remainder of the season!

Not so much about LE winning by that much. They are 5-0 and #1 in one of the top regions in Ohio
