Based on last night Crystal deserves the win but Lee has been better than her consistantly since early on. However, I am rooting for Crystal also. Both are very deserving and are in need of a break. At least America got the best 2 in the finals for a change. I think this is the first time the best two are in the finale and sometimes none of the finale contestants are top twon material.

Well, "America" has spoken, and Lee is the winner.

Only thing that I'm going to say about that is during tonight's performances, when he was making a very feeble attempt to sing with Chicago during their medley of hits, he couldn't even cut it as a back up singer for the shell of this legendary group. It was pathetic. So, now he wins the Idol crown, which I am guessing will be the next to last, with Simon leaving.

Pretty much a travesty in my book. Crystal did a great job tonight with her live performances, just as she did last night. The teenage girl vote won him the crown tonight, obviously.

Lee will walk away with the last Idol crown that involved Simon, and in all honesty, the last couple of years, for the most part, were not the most talented individuals who won.

That being said, I was totally surprised with the "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" performance with Casey and Bret Michaels, that was, I must admit, great!
