Can you not give CG credit where credit is due. they did what you thought was impossible. {HINT GAME OF THE WEEK} lets just say you have to face those oak hill oaks to . yes I was absent last week to cheer on my team but i dont live on this site. I work for a living. CG played a good game from what ive been told and it should continue for the rest of the season. its great to hear that your eagles won.

but no one will hold the bills to 0 points this year. so at least you can say nice job instead of just pushing them to the side(unless your just stiring the poo pot) lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My point was 36-0. It hurt the bills to loose their best player. He made the others better. You take him away Their a completely different team. As you would be too if you lost your best running back or best offensive threat. 36-0 is a good job. Was not saying any different Only that it hurt the bills with their best player out

Good grief. This is pee wee football we're talking about. 1/2 these kids won't play football beyond the 8th grade. Plus, 1/2 of those starting now will be subs the rest of their life if they do continue playing because some will never grow beyond 6th grade, some blossomed early and have topped out in talent, daddy was the coach and let him start, some other kid(s) that was a runt will grow into a stud and beat the 6th grade stud out and more reasons than I can name. Heck, I guarantee 1/3 of these kids don't even want to play and are being made or shamed into playing by one or both parents, for whatever the reason.

The problem with pee wee football is that most of the coaches are trying to re-live their youth and a good majority of them are trying to live through their kids a sports career they didn't have. For a good majority of these coaches, they only think they know is how to dole out grass drills and sprints for mistakes instead of really taking the time to teach them how to not make the mistake in the first place. This type of punishment doesn't teach a kid to keep from jumping off sides or not miss an assignment/block/tackle. The only thing using grass drills and sprints for punishment teaches the kid is to hate grass drills and sprints. I know many will say, "it's been done that way forever." Does that make it right? Old coaches used to withhold water during practices and games because they said it caused cramps. Things that make you gom hmmmmmm.

90% of these youth coaches are out for one thing, their own kid. They could care less about the team as long as Junior gets his playing time. Watch the sidelines during pregame, a time-out or half time. One coach is usually addressing the whole team/offense/defense, then 7 or 8 daddy-coaches are talking to/coaching their own kid. That says it all.

Your right with alot of this. But doesn't mean that alot are not doing it the right way. My thought would be step in volunteer and help shape these young boys. If all a kid is getting from their coach is grass drills and sprints prob is more than most parents are doing for them. But just as the coaches I'm sure there are some parents better than others. Put the stones done and get a team help
