SOC 1 Standings
Re: SOC 1 Standings
Hats off to Clay. They wanted it more than the Vikings did last night. No excuses, We got beat! SOC1 should be a three way tie right now.
Vikings play Green at home tonight. Maybe we will be able to hit the ball tonight looking through our black eye!
Nice home run shot by the young lady from Clay last night.

Re: SOC 1 Standings
Clay beat Portsmouth West tonight 3-2. Clay is now 14-4, 9-1 in the SOC I. Key games remaining==at home against ND on 4/26 and at Symmes Valley on 5/3.
Re: SOC 1 Standings
The Vikings posted four more SOC wins over the weekend. DH over Western on Friday and a DH over New Boston on Saturday. I think they are at 20-3 right now. Suppose to play Clay tonight but with the high water over the highways to SV and water on the field I doubt it will be played.

Re: SOC 1 Standings
Portsmouth Clay justified their number one tournament seed and defeated Portsmouth Notre Dame 4-3 this evening, but it sure wasn't easy.
ND took the lead in the top half of the 6th 1-0. In the bottom half of the inning Clay scored twice taking a 2-1 lead. In the top of the seventh the Titans tried to put a dagger in the Panthers hearts, plating two runs to retake the lead, 3-2.
Down to their last at-bat in the bottom half of the seventh, after a walk and fielders choice put the tying run at second with one out, Clay wins it with a two-run WALK OFF home run to left field by freshman shortstop Marissa Messer. It was a hard fought and well-earned victory by the Lady Panthers.
Hats off to ND for a fine season and two well-played games against Clay.
Clay (19-5, 12-1 SOC) is off until Monday when they play SOCII McDermott Northwest at home (Rubyville) then it's on the road to Willow Wood for all the SOC marbles on Tuesday.
BRING ON SYMMES VALLEY !!!

Re: SOC 1 Standings
Well if the rain holds off the SOC 1 will be decided this afternoon at Symmes Valley. They play Clay at 5:00pm to decide the No one spot for the SOC 1.
Should be a good game. Both teams have had very good seasons
Anyone care to predict a score for the game.
