PORTSMOUTH JOSH MYERS RECORD HIT STREAK
Josh Myers of Portsmouth tied for 3rd best all time in the state of Ohio for consecutive hits. Josh hit safely in 14 straight at bats 2 short of the record for Ohio. Congrats Josh on the streak and good luck the rest of the way.

Does Josh play legion ball? Would liked to have seen him play. If he doesn't play legion ball does he play on a travel team anywhere? What grade is he in and how old, I know some travel teams that may be interested in picking him up.

myers does indeed play for post 23. he helped send them to the state tourney last season and finished the year in 4th place in the state. a huge acomplishment for our area considering how small we are compared to a lot of areas.
