Congratulations to the Wellston Golden Rockets. They outplayed the Ironmen in every facet of the game tonight. Hats off to Wellston's staff. Their team was well-prepared, well-conditioned, and motivated beyond belief. The Wellston Rockets played 48 minutes of outstanding football tonight and they beat Jackson at its own game by playing physical and running the football.

I honestly didn't think this was the year it would happen. I felt very good about Jackson's football team this season, but the Rockets were just the better team tonight. No doubt about it. That's about all I can say about the game...pretty much shocked and speechless at the moment.

To the Ironmen. Keep your heads up. There are nine games left in this season. It's your job to win them all. I can't imagine how much this hurts, but you just have to put it behind you.

Didnt Jackson go 9-1 the last time a TVC team beat them?

Jackson will bounce back!

Yeah, they did. Gonna be tough to recover from this, but we'll learn a lot of about the character of the Ironmen next week at Waverly. Just gotta put it behind you and move on.

My apologies to "boilermaker" for being wrong about this one. Crow, possum, rattlesnake whatever you've got I'll eat it. This win tonight will change the minds of the TVC brethren the next time Jackson comes up for a vote. (Just kidding), good win !!!!!
