Re: Ironton's Taylor Barker signs with MSJ
I would like to thank all who have expressed best wishes and congratulations to Taylor.
I think he is pretty special and even though I will miss him when he is away at college, I am so very proud of him for the hard work he has done, on and off the field. I will be spending weekends this coming season in Cincinnati. I will always root for my Tigers and will miss the Friday night lights. It's going to be surreal not to see him running out on the field at the Tank, but I am looking forward to watching him run out on the MSJ field. Once again, thank you to all!

Thanks alot Cat! He came home from school today with an all academic S.E.O.A.L. award and a plaque from Ironton for 2 year letterman in football and baseball. He didn't even tell me that today was awards day. I could have thumped him good for not telling me! I am so proud of him!

4 years at MSJ and Taylor could come home and tryout for those Warriors from across the river, if he doesn't go elsewhere.
