Robbie Jenkins ( I think it was robbie I get him and AJ mixed up sometimes.) Was the fastest kid I ever saw! That boy could flat out fly. If you hit him he folded like a lawn chair but he was so fast!. He was like a little blur running down the field.

Did those steroids help Edwards run faster in high school?

Does anyone know what Edwards times were when he was in school, I think two kids from Athens, Dixon and Sharp are faster that him alos Jeremy Smith of Meigs. I never heard of any records he took down while there.

And I would beg to differ on Prater being the best college prospect int the TVC, IMO it would be Dyla, not just on stats alone I think there is much more you can do with him. Although Prater can be a good player we'll see what he does now that he is healthy.

Looked back at 2007 tvc Edwards ran a 10.9 100 I don't remember anyone else under 11. Smith was like 11.3
Re: TVC Talent 2010
Carlyle Curry from Belpre in 1998 also ran a 10.90, Curry and Edwards hold the TVC record for 100M
Re: TVC Talent 2010
Sharp ran a 12.12 last year and Prater ran an 11.84 at Oak Hill and a 11.53 last night at Vinton. Can't find any track records for Barney or Jenkins. But the names mentioned that I found aren't close to Edwards time.

I thought Jay Edwards was a football player, someone was saying how fast Prater was, track is the only recorded times you can compare by. If you were really Orange and Brown it wouldn't bother you to see one of your best players name on here would it?

Re: TVC Talent 2010
Actually Sharp ran a 11.4 on a torn miniscus, which he had throughout football and basketball. And Dixons time was a lot faster. But we are talking about football so game speed is a lot diffferent than track speed and I think Sharp, Dixon and Prater would out do Edwards in that category. All you have to do is compare game film on those kids and you will see the difference. No disrespect to Edwards, I've see film on all of them. But this wiil shape up to be an interesting year for football and good luck to all in the TVC.

Got my imformation off baumspaige tvc, where did you get yours? I've seen them all run the 100m, Edwards by far, FACT.
Re: TVC Talent 2010
Whats wrong with you Jim. This forum is 99% BS and you try and bring facts of posted times. I seen them boys all run faster out at aunt Sally's hay field. Who is gone to believe these boys when you are posting facts. O&B don't need to hear about no D1 football player. He's got his own story to tell you. You'd better get back on the track this football we don't need records if we do I will get aunt Sally on here she will tell you them boys did run faster.

Where didi I get my info from, I also wentto the meets myself. And depends on what meet you went through Sharps personal best was 11.4 with a torn miniscus. And Dixon also has a good time but I'll get that info. But anyway it is about football and Edwards is gone so we'll see about this upcoming season.
Re: TVC Talent 2010
blubomer89 I will see Dixon run Friday myself and see his time, cg 22 there is nothing wrong with me, but I am done posting on here back to the track.
