South Point 1 and Chesapeake 0
Lady Pointers pull off the win tonight with a 1-0 victory over the lady panthers. Congrats pointers!!!
Re: South Point 1 and Chesapeake 0
Pointers great defense, got a run in the first inning and the pitching held the Panthers to only a few hits. Great job all around!!! And there was no "disrespectful celebration" at the end!!!

Re: South Point 1 and Chesapeake 0
Peake begins the game with a lead off doulble, walk and then the Pointer pitcher gets the next to fly out and the defense gets a double play to end the threat. After that Murnahan and her defense only allows 2 or 3 hits, only one runner even got to 2nd base for the rest of the game. Pointers scored first in the bottom of the 1st with a triple by Button and a single by Leonard. The Pointers played without an error !!!!! Peak had only one error of their own but it had no outcome in the game ( That usually doesn't happen LOL)
Re: South Point 1 and Chesapeake 0
Hoss, the girls really wanted to celebrate I am sure but they didn't want to seem classless!!!! They were even joking about it to be quiet after the game LOL Someone said it was the first time the Peake had been beated by the Pointers since 06!! Murnahn was on! She pitched so much better than when they first played. She stuck out twice as many plus one and gave up half the hits form the previous game!Chapman did her best but she just had no offense behind her.

Congrads to South Point on the win. I hope that your girls were able to hush, not a peep, not a high five, notta till they loaded the bus. Chesapeake has put a new rule into effect. " ABSOLUTELY NO CHEERING DURING OR AFTER GAMES, NO CHANTING FROM THE DUG OUTS. THERE MUST BE ABSOLUTE SILENCE JUST LIKE IN GULF OR TENNIS" You would've thought they would have appreciated us trying to wake them up since Ironton was sooooo booorrringgg & ssllooooww. Keep up the hard work Lady Pointers, nice job!
Re: South Point 1 and Chesapeake 0
Be careful or this one will get pulled as well !lol
I guess the pitching was not what they were expecting who knows? The last time they played the Pointers had 3 errors and let their pitcher down. This time the Peak just couldn't hit the ball. I attribute that to their Pitching. Whatever, South Point need someone else to beat them
Murnahan got beamed really hard in the shin previously last week in a game at Greenup. They haven't lost since. Maybe it was a good thing
