Fed Hock 14
Piketon 9

Thompson pitched for FH, but I was told early that he was just going to go through the motions similar to preseason bullpen work. Thompson being fresh and crisp from the mound is the entire key to Fed Hock's tournament chances.

Then in game two...

Piketon 7
Fed Hock 3

Sounds like Piketon hit the ball well.

Fed Hock plays Adena Monday, and it will be a good chance to get the young arms some more work against a really good program.

Fed Hock 6
Adena 5

Fed Hock made nine errors. No typo. Nine.

I can believe it if they were groundball errors. Adena has one of the worst fields in southern Ohio.

Gallipolis 23 Vinton County 13 (5 innings)

Vinton County led 13-2 going into the bottom of the fifth inning with one out. GAHS then scored 21 straight runs with one out, and the game ended on John Troester's grand slam.
