Peebles went 6-0 against Eastern. Peebles JV won 3 of 4...but I didnt watch the last two JV games. Each of the Indians' quarter wins were by more than ten points except for one or two(The Indians led by around 35 total after the first two periods).lightle04 wrote:Hey just wondering how the boys did against Peebles tonight there a pretty good d-3 team with some nice players but I'm figureing easterns depth probley caused peebles some problems.

So they won one of the last two JV periods? The Player wrote:eagles won twoTribeManiac10 wrote:Peebles went 6-0 against Eastern. Peebles JV won 3 of 4...but I didnt watch the last two JV games. No, Peebles won all 6 varsity quarters. Eastern almost won the 4th but Andy Countryman hit a free throw to give Peebles the win at the end. Eastern however did win one of the four JV games that I watched.....but I left before the last two JV games were played so it is possible that they got a second win but it wasent at the varsity level.Green Dough wrote:I am thinking "The Player" is referring to the varsity. I made it to the scrimmage and I also thought that varsity won 2 quarters out of 6.
For Peebles I thought all of the starters did a fairly good job. Blake Justice would have been my "MVP" of the scrimmage though. I also thought some of our subs in the post( 6'1" Forward AJ Chamblin and 6'3"/6'4" Center Dylan Rinck) did a great job of providing some relief for Jacob Daniels.tripledouble wrote:I didn't get to make it. Who play well in the scrimmage, for either team?
I heard that Lands and Pickett both turned their ankle and that Lands has had an issue with his ankle this year? Was told the Eagles played terrible the first 2 quarters (understandable with many of the players never playing varsity, let alone against a quality team like Peebles) but then played pretty well the last 4 quarters and played with Peebles?Green Dough wrote:I thought Lands got hurt. Pikkett also? Are they both alright?
