In softball there is a case that if the infield fly is not called it is still in effect. (a foul pop up in reach of a fielder that hits foul and then rolls fair) Many rules in softball and baseball are the same. I would think they would be the same for this rule.

This really isn't about the Rule itself. This should be a good reminder what happens when people act like jack*sses! If a coach has a problem he should have appealed the call talked to the umpire politely and move on, The Fans should Keep there mouths shut because it doesn't help any. The umpire should have went straight to his/her car and left....
