Re: SOC I 10-11
From what I have seen, Clay probably has the best line up only losing the one big senior boy and having to big boys to take his spot.

Clay got embarassed at the adena scrimmage. They only had 2 varsity players to show up, and coach trainer decided he wasnt going to coach in this scrimmage because it would take away from his 10 days to coach, so he left the only 2 varsity players in charge of coaching and playing the game, while he sat in the stands.

for real! from what i understand when the varsity players can attend the summer ball they are there but 2 have jobs, one in summer baseball and one got hurt the first game at chesapeake.....i heard they split last night at valley with all of the varsity but 1 showing up.....should be good this year!
Re: SOC I 10-11
I see clay being pretty good again there only weakness is same as last year guard play to many tournovers and guards takeing quick shots instead of capitalizeing on there great size and athletes inside.

Cant think of his name...but I would keep an eye out for the senior big man for Green this season.

I think you are talking about Matt Ratcliff, or Zane Poe both of the big men are skilled and could score 20 easily if they got going

I was very impressed with Ratcliff when they played Peebles last season....his presence in the post is what kept the game respectably close. I seem to remember Poe making a fairly solid impact as well.

I don't see a clear cut BEST team this year league champ could very well have 5 or 6 league losses this year should be interesting.

I think i'll pick eastern, i know they lost alot to graduation but i saw them play this summer and they looked good, they beat valley and was up twenty at one point. and at the valley summer league tournament they went undefeated and there were three players that score twenty or better: Chad Lands, Morgan Cisco, and jordan Thornsberry
Re: SOC I 10-11
Eastern is a solid pick I'd say they have more depth than any other team in the league

Clay will be senior loaded this year with Cody Delotell, Cody Bussler, Josh Porter, Max Graham, Jon Valentine, Nate Burhcett, all getting plenty of playing time as Sophs and Jrs. I look for them to be in the running this year.
Re: SOC I 10-11
if clay plays team ball and dont have the turnovers they did last year they will be at the top of the soc

Re: SOC I 10-11
I think they cut way down on their TO's when the coach started having two or three guys bring the ball up the floor instead of just one. They had about a 6 game win streak after that, so hopefully that will carry over. Should be a close race in the SOC 1 , should be fun to watch.

Re: SOC I 10-11
It should be a good race, but I think it will come down to Eastern and Clay battling it out. The team that wins on the other ones home floor may be the game that seals the deal, as these two will probably have close to equal records. Someone said earlier that the soc champ may have 3 or 4 losses. I still don't see tha being the case. Green and New Bosto has improved and SV should be good again this year. But I still think the winner will be either clay or eastern with only one or two losses in the SOC.

Re: SOC I 10-11
I saw clay play this summer and to be completely honest i dont think they stand a chance, i understand they were missing some ppl but they looked so unorganized like they've never seen a basketball b4. Im still saying eastern is going under the radar right and ppl wont even see it comin, but notre dame might give them a challenge but eastern will be able to do it.
