The freshman lefty can throw it.
No gimmie for the Burg.

Watched Burg play at Northwest. Very explosive.

If Farmer pitches for Piketon and on his game it should be a good one.

I'm sure the Burg will counter with Elliott so this one should be a dandy.

Good luck to the Pirates!!

Piketon much too young to compete. They're a couple years away. The farmer kid is a fantastic freshman but not the seasoned veteran that Elliott is.

Piketon could well be a tough game for the Pirates.

Dont count the Streaks out, Farmer is an exceptional young lefty that is tough to hit. However, the Pirates are a continual powerhouse in the area. Should be a dandy of a game, good luck to both.

Wheelersburg is not taking anyone lightly. The Pirates are working hard as ever, took batting practice today, and will be ready.

You can take as much BP as you would like. But when you face a Decent lefty with a nice Duece....Watch out. I believe if Piketon plays one of their best games, and Burg doesnt hit 1-9, piketon wins, on the other hand if they get to the pitcher early, be careful by the bat rack. there could be a fight.

The whole batting practice comment was probably meant to imply that this Wheelersburg team is very focused right now. The entire team showed up on an off day to take some BP. This group has been very successful in their four years and they know what it takes to get it done in the tournament. I have seen Piketon play and watched the Farmer kid throw. They are a very talented team and he is the real deal on the mound. However, Wheelersburg has a couple of kids who can play too. These seniors havent won over a hundred games in their four years by accident. This should be a dandy ball game and as everyone knows, anything can happen come tournament time. The team who makes the fewest mistakes will likely win this one.

strike three, your whole post was odd. I believe it DOES matter how much BP you take, that's why teams do it. And, do you really think that the Wheelersburg players have not seen a left handed curve ball before? Yeah, I realize that there are a couple of good arms for Piketon, but Wheelersburg has many good bats.

Yeah, if Piketon plays their best game and Burg doesn't hit, I would say common sense would tell you that Piketon would win. But the Burg not hitting is very doubtful though.

Not sure about the fight at the bat rack comment either.

Go Burg!

I could see this game being close the first time through the lineup. After that, the Burg finds a way and wins it in 5 inn.
