Belpre vs Clay 5/20 @ Minford @ 4:30 ur thoughts
If Belpre can play error free ball they can play with anyone . . .Jr. P/1B T. Mason throws as hard as anyone out there, and not many out there with a stronger swing +.400 BA, Jr. SS/P R. Leftwich has one of the best gloves around with an arm to match, can pitch, puts the ball in play on offense +.400 BA, Sr. C B. Fitch has strong arm and doesn't hesitate to throwdown +.400 BA, Soph's 3B/OF B. McNabb solid glove, good stick leads off +.400 BA, 1B/P/SS N. Perry solid offensively & defensively +.400 BA, don't know much about Clay? Record says a very good team, like ourselves. Hope for a very good game, injury free, best of luck to both teams. . . Belpre 5 Clay 4 . . ..

It was looking gloomy for the Panthers. Clay down 5-1 bottom of 6th but plated 3 runs to make it 5-4. Held Belpre in the top of the 7th then scored two in their last at bat to win 6-5. Good job Panthers!!! I'll tell you one thing though, Belpre has one heckuva coach and fielded a really smart and heady team out there. Caught Clay sleeping numerous times. Nice to see. Congrats. Clay moves onto the district final Saturday.
