Well trimble comming off a loss to ny thats a hard one to take but we can live with that but NO WAY wahama from wv comes into the dome and wins.tomcats woulnt allow that. You can take that to the bank.

I hope they play to a tie, don't think I can stand the gloating if either wins.

This thread likely should read TVC Hocking Championship and the three pages of banter and bs flying around only makes the point stronger. I believe Trimble's offense has struggled against N-Y for a few years in a row now so don't let that make you think they can't play with Wahama. Any White Falcon fans who haven't graced the sidelines of Glouster Memorial need to know there are only stands on the home sidelines and the fill quickly so you may want to consider bringing something to sit on. I fully expect this to be one of the hardest hitting games on Friday and I wouldn't be shocked with a win from either team but I'll stay with the team I know better and take the Tomcats in a good one. Good luck to both schools.

I hate to say it but I have to go with Wahama in this one. Trimble has a lot of problems to fix, plus playing an unfamiliar team... Just too many things to work on in one week, and Wahama aint no push over.

Win or lose they will show up and give Trimble a game. Now, I'll be at the game and if there are to many bad calls by the refs or the Trimble fans are really arrogant and nasty toward the Falcon faithful in attendance then I'll have to call on my Newark Catholic brethren at work (and there are a few) to keep an eye out for the Tomcats if they make the playoffs and give them the low down on how good the Tomacats think they really are so it can be carried into the locker room if they would happen to meet up in the above said playoffs. They just beat them into submission in another sport a few days ago and this football meeting just might take place next fall. Two can play this game
FIRST A NY THREAD NOW A TRIMBLE TREAD...CALL NEWERKKKKK OVER THE HILL AND THROUGH THE WOODS THE BUCKEYES ARE LAYING AMBUSH FOE THE green wave...........TRIMBLE at the dome should be a cats win.

To tomcat15, you said that trimble kills wahama every other year. Wahama and Trimble have only played twice in recent history, Wahama won in 2004, Trimble won in 2005 by 2 touchdowns. Also, Wahama didn't have their qb the second half in 2005 either. Pretty evenly matched if you asked me. Should be a good one.

Finally got to watch the recording of the Trimble NY game from channel 15. It turned out like I thought it would. Ny pushed Trimble wherever they wanted to and pretty much ran wild on them. It has been awhile since I have seen Wahama play, but they will be more discplined, hit harder, and probably wont need a break every other play like Trimble did in the NY game. (Whats the sense of having good running backs when they are always sucking water on the sidelines after a hard fought 2 yard loss :122246 ) So my checklist Toughness goes to Wahama. Discipline goes to Wahama, Identity on offense goes to Wahama. That being said the Cats lose by 2 touchdowns this week and the finger pointing and bashing of each other will commence. That in turns opens the door for everyone else to knock the Cats off their high horse. Trimble has struggled early in each of the last 3 seasons and Wahama will take advantage. Alright Tomcat fans let the excuses begin....Not even the officiating, score clock operator, and the man above can save you from a horrible defeat this friday. Your reign is over says the King of Kings.

I look for Trimble to get in the I & unleash Dyla all night long vs Wahama.... Cats bounce back after a tough loss vs Nelsonville-York... With a 6 point win this week IMO 32-26

18 to 2 penalties and the refs checking with Boston to make sure that they put the ball where he wanted??? You forgot to mention that in your expert watching of the game??

ahh, We got us a cry baby,, You guys got beat fair and square. Everytime you run your mouths about the refs, it makes you look stupid! Trimble never looses a game because the other team played better. You guys better move past NY and worry about Wahama. Pretty sure they are gonna fowwlow the same blueprint we did. Shut down Dyla and Trimble can't move the ball.

no cry baby here, just making a statment about one who believes that it is ok to point out players (running backs) all of the kids work hard, ALL teams. N-ville has a very good team and I hope that they run the table, If the play off is at home and Trimble is not in it, I will be there for that group of hard working kids as well

Everyone that has watched the Trimble scrimmages and the NY game know that we have things to work on. No one can blame the officials for the loss of the NY game. We got beat fair and square! NY has won the bragging rights for the next year. All the NY fans that like to act like this game is the Superbowl of all times can sleep better knowing they won. However, with that being said, our players and coaches HAVE moved on and are focusing on Wahama! Trimble has had their "wake up call" so to speak and will do their best on Friday night and may the best team win. Of course for us Tomcat fans, we want it to be us!!!!! So, how about the NY fans stop slamming Trimble and worry about what's going on over there on the other side of the hill? We already played each other right? Let's go Trimble!!!!!!!!!

Trimble struggles with ny every year nothing new trimble can still win out and make the playoffs everyone just calm down.no thought a win against ny would be easy to get so lets not write off the tomcats just yet.
