Yes that is a final. 14-6. Trimble had the ball deep in Wahama territory in the games last minute and had the ball intercepted in the end zone. Congrats. Falcons.

Re: TRIMBLE vs. Wahama: Bring it on !
Went to the game and seen exactly what I thought I would. The reign is over for the kitties. Wahama has won its first of many hocking titles. The key play in the game was Trimble's fumble. I don't know if the Cats don't let their kids run the ball 3 times in row or not, but once again at a crucial moment it looked as if kids took themselves out of the game to suck on some water. I thought Wahama played very conversative the second half or the score would have been worse. Trimble is definifitely not what they once was. Now its open season on the Tomcats and everyone else lining up to take it to them.King of Kings wrote:Finally got to watch the recording of the Trimble NY game from channel 15. It turned out like I thought it would. Ny pushed Trimble wherever they wanted to and pretty much ran wild on them. It has been awhile since I have seen Wahama play, but they will be more discplined, hit harder, and probably wont need a break every other play like Trimble did in the NY game. (Whats the sense of having good running backs when they are always sucking water on the sidelines after a hard fought 2 yard loss :122246 ) So my checklist Toughness goes to Wahama. Discipline goes to Wahama, Identity on offense goes to Wahama. That being said the Cats lose by 2 touchdowns this week and the finger pointing and bashing of each other will commence. That in turns opens the door for everyone else to knock the Cats off their high horse. Trimble has struggled early in each of the last 3 seasons and Wahama will take advantage. Alright Tomcat fans let the excuses begin....Not even the officiating, score clock operator, and the man above can save you from a horrible defeat this friday. Your reign is over says the King of Kings.

What? To win out, come in second in the league, and go on the road in week one to play Slimshady or Bridgeport? Hey, I'm fine with that, I want a TVC Hocking team in the playoffs, even if it is only for one week.DILLIGAF wrote:well on a good note i think trimble finally woke up for the first time this season in the second half.Trimble has lost to two very good football teams so im not counting them out just yet.I think trimble can still win out

Well this game was much like I expected it to be, I thought the score may be reversed but I really felt like these two were only gonna be a score apart. Trimble and their much hyped running game needs to get rolling in a big way, 6 points a game won't win many contests. Trimble has played 2 of their toughest 3 games in the first 2 weeks and likely will go no worse than 7-3.

Somebody at Trimble needs to repeat math class. No way Dyla had 133 rushing. Closer to 50. Maybe with all the budget cuts they quit offering instruction on how to count.

Looks like you all let a real snake into the TVC!!!
Wahama may be a small school, but they have a better population density than any of the other TVC Hocking schools...
The Hocking Division will regret letting the Falcons into the conference.

Wahama didnt win the game, we lost it. Just ask Brady! Last night at the lot, all anybody could talk about was how we didnt take advantage of opportunity after opportunity. We had the ball inside the 20 every time we had it but turnovers and dumb penalties kept us out. Grid Glory kept saying what a good job wahama did on defense but i just dont think we played our best. If we played wahama 10 times we would win 9 of them. One of the guys on the chain crew was in line in front of me for concessions. Phil should really meet with this guy. i think he had some really good ideas for our offense. Right now, as he said, "we show no offensive imagination......."

Wahama did their talking on the field where it matters, not on seop where it doesn't.

I just got back in to C-bus after being "down in the hills" to watch my share of TVC football this past weekend. Trimble "lost it" and Wahama didn't win it huh ? Whatever, the White Falcons will be good competition for all the TVC hocking teams in most all sports in the years to come. Trimble, sorry about your loss but the Falcons won the game. Most teams in the TVC Hocking don't play defense, Wahama can't help that.
