Fairfield Union D3 Regional Meet

Post by 90buckeye »

Heat, lane and flight assignments for the Fairfield Union regional are now posted at this link: http://www.baumspage.com/rtrack/2010/11/index.htm. Starting heights and increments for the high jump and pole vault will be determined later today by the games committee.

Good luck to all participants!

They run a nice meet. Good work on the flight assignments.......many regionals aren't updated yet.

Some SE district kids have a good chance at making it out of the regionals.

Ohio State Buckeye fans can catch former great and announcer Jim Lachey up there near the finish line as his 2 daughters are in a combination of 7 events for Grandview Heights.

Good Luck to all SE participants...especially the girls that had to advance out of that district.

The qualifying girls from the Oak Hill district are doing excellent in nearly every event. The SE district is looking good on the girls' side.

Belpre with their relays (4x1 and 4x2) and Hannah Hoffman look to get 4 spots into the state meet. Cuckler of Federal Hocking in the 100H and HJ. Ruby from Burg in the 300H. Massie of Oak Hill in the LJ and has good shot in the 100m. Schmidt in the HJ from Wheelersburg. Sixx from Trimble in the Shot will be high in the state meet. Cook of South Webster in the 1600 and 3200....and several others still alive in the finals tomorrow......best of luck to them all.

The boys from Wheelersburg, Coal Grove and Paint Valley are showing well for the district on the boys' side.

One negative IMO is the finish line results for the fans, athletes and coaches.........just shows a winning time after a few moments of adjusting.

I really like Chillicothe having complete results for the heat/event as it is completed with no guessing or estimating of times to advance. I was told that only costs $700.

Is it me or is the long jump pit higher than the jumping board? Seems like where the boys land is about 6 inches higher than where they took off from......every jumper is in the same boat I know.....just wondered other's opinions.
