Waverly scored a few times against the backups. Circleville controlled most of the varsity portion of the scrimmage.

Waverly and Circleville pretty muched played starters for the first three quarters, Waverly did sub a lot for the WR, and RB, and played a lot of people on defense, however, Circleville was up 28-14 after three. Waverly scored on a 70 yard pass to Lee Holdren and a 10 yard run by Devin Kelly. Waverly played without tailback Levi Underwood and one lineman but really was man-handled early. Waverly showed toughness to hang in and battle back. Overall Circleville looked pretty good - Waverly still looks very young but did improve as game went on!

Waverly looked to be overmatched in the first half. IDK and not sure I want to know what was said at halftime, but Waverly played with some fire in the second half. Kelly had a perfect pass for the TD. We ran the ball more effectively than I thought we would and Kelly's run for the TD was nice.
I would like to see better tackling and we did jump on hard counts a few times, but that is stuff that can be worked on and I'm sure the coaches will hit that in practice. L I'm having football withdrawl, isn't it Friday yet?
