This looks like a tough schedule, do the trojans have have the horses to run the table. I know they have the Myers kid, but do they have anything else to go with him this year?

Re: Portsmouth Trojans 2010 Schedule
The Trojans return 9 starters on offense and 7 on defense.......they lost C Justin Welch and WR London Malone on offense, while Jalen Kennedy, London Malone, Patrick Underwood, and Jason James on defense.......the defense should be better than last year while the offense should be a juggernaut, being able to pass or run with equal efficiency........last year Josh Myers became the first QB in Trojan history to pass for at least 1,000 yards and run for at least 1,000 yards.

Re: Portsmouth Trojans 2010 Schedule
last year’s center was Justin Welch, not Caleb.
I agree with you, we should be much improved on the defensive side of the ball, and the offence should pick up where they left off at the end of last year. I look for the Trojans to try to get the ball in the hands of Royster and Jackson a little more this year to take some of the pressure off of Myers. If Royster has an opening, there aren't many guys that could catch him, and Jackson has the strength to pound on guys. Also have to remember Kyle Simpson at WR, he is always a threat, as well as Collin Stacker at TE. The Trojans are blessed with the weapons this season.

Re: Portsmouth Trojans 2010 Schedule
Trojan FB Alum: I edited my above post to correct Justin Welch's name. Thanks for the reminder.
I also look for Josh Myers to not run as much as last year, but still be a very productive QB........we have a lot of talent around him that I think will be more fully utilized.......I would love to see Jon Royster get more touches.......the kid is a true breakaway threat.
