Re: TROJANS OFFENSE IN 2010
I'm not sure who we will have at center this year. It's a key spot in that O-Line my guess would be Tyler Scott or Mike Brown. And I agree with you on the possibility of Collin Staker playing some DE. If McKinley is eligible to play this year he would be the other DE opposite Horsley. I think your right about the others you mentioned rotating in at the DT spot. Sanders at DE would be interesting, but I don't know if he's fast enough to cover get out and cover the edge. We only have about 3 1/2 weeks until they hit camp for the first time so we will find out soon. No season is like FOOTBALL season and this year should be fun to watch.

I would love to see Andrew Bendolph at KR.......he is fast and shifty on his feet, and is capable of the home run at any time........or he can at least shorten the field by 10-20 yards which will make things better for the offense.

I agree Dave, with him and Royster deep nobody would want to kick to us. Those guys need 1 block and they are gone. I think we would see a lot of short kicks this year.

If Deon is eligible I would think he has a good shot at it, but with what I have heard I don't believe he is.
I really think Sanders would be tough at end. It is all about being quick off the ball, so that you can keep contain, and force it back inside. I think Casey has a real good first step that would make him pretty good.
As far as center goes, I would think Mike Brown would be in the conversation. I know Sanders has snapped in the past but I was told that they don't want to have him to play center unless they have to. I wondered if Lewis could make the move, this would free up a spot for Ratcliff. Ratcliff started some games last season when Casey was hurt, and did pretty well for a sophomore.
Also again, is Duke Edwards back at PHS, and if he is will he be playing?

I don't think there is any doubt the Bendolph and Royster will both be back on PR and KR. I think we had 5 special teams TD's last year with 4 different guys. Now with addition of Bendolph we could possibly top that this year. We have a lot of weapons for teams to have to focus on this year.
Special Team TD's last year that I remember ;
Royster (2) vs Gallia (81 yrd PR), Ironton(90 yrd KR)
Simpson (1) vs West (74 yrd PR)
Staker (1) vs Gallia (50 yrd KR)
Malone (1) vs Gallia (85 yrd KR)
