Senior League Teams???

Post by sportnut »

I have only seen the 4 teams with camera guys photo forums. Aren't there anymore senior league teams/games being played? What about schedules? I know Ironton did not have enough girls last yr. Anybody with any info.; please share.

I hear Ironton beat Symmes Valley and Ports./Burg. both in dble. hdrs.. They play @ Greene tonight and makeup Rock Hill tomorrow night @ home. Does anyone have the game times? I'm getting the results after games are already played.

The Burg team played very sloppy their first two games which were against Ironton. But it was also those girls first team playing with each other and it takes time to mesh together. It should have been a more competitive game with the talent Burg has on their time. Hopefully it will be a closer game next time. Burg beat Green on Monday.

i'm just glad to see some of these girls playing that otherwise wouldn't because they can't afford to travel. And it's always fun to watch local kids playing and learning them. So you know what your up against in high school. :-D

Burg plays SAt at home 11am against Rock hill.
tuesday home against South point i think at 6pm.

just heard Ironton's Elswick transferred to Minford. One of the best 1st baseman I've seen. This has to be a big loss for the Ironton girls programs.

Seems like a long drive on a daily basis? Seriously doesn't this poor kid get brought up every year for transferring somewhere? Maybe this should be a topic for when it actually does happen?

Who is actully going to field a team for senior league allstars?

Anyhoo hope that the Potter girl's injury is not as bad and she can get back to playing before a whole year is lost! The Tigers will miss her I am sure in softball if she is not healed by next year.
