It looks like Valley will still be barely ahead of Wheelersburg and Minford (if scores and my math are both correct, Valley and Burg both have 113.0 2nd level points and the same divisor with Valley having more 1st level points...but not by much). I only looked at the the 3 SOC II teams due to a lack of time. It looks like all three could be out of the top 8 going into Week 10. One factor in that would be wether or not Ridgewood won tonight. Does anyone know?

I expect MC to fall out of the top 4 in week 10, as they play Buckeye Trail and will pick up very few points from beating a 1-8 team.

Ridgewood will move ahead of Burg into the 7th spot after today. There are 2 games today that they will get 2nd level points from. The loser of the Valley/Minford game is out, and Caldwell is more than likely out even with a 9-1 record.

Probably will end up around 7th or 8th.

Still a very muddled picture this morning. After F-town and Oak Hill it's a log jam!

1 OAK HILL (9-1) 23.35
Nice win over a D3 playoff contender catapults the Oaks to the top seed.

2 FREDERICKTOWN (10-0) 22.55
Keeps plugging along. I think the top 2 seeds are pretty much set barring a big upset.

3 WHEELERSBURG (8-2) 19.70
Big win against Valley in week 9. Another big test against P. West. I'm going with Wheelersburg because they just seem to have all the momentum right now. If they lose they are out. There's a very key game that separates Wheelersburg and Valley. Wheelersburg has to finish with one more beaten opponent win in week 10 than Valley, and it would have to carry D4 weight. That's where Fairland v. Rock Hill comes in. If Fairland defeats Rock Hill I think Wheelersburg will edge out Valley. If Rock Hill wins then Valley will finish ahead. Technically the same thing could happen if Portsmouth beats Ironton, but that would be a pretty large thing to ask of Portsmouth.

4 VALLEY (9-1) 19.65
Ran into Wheelersburg which seems to be the Reg 19 team peaking the most at the right time. Valley's playoffs start this week as the Minford/Valley loser is out of the playoffs. In my projections, I'm going with the home team. See Wheelersburg above for their positioning versus the Burg.

5 NELSONVILLE-YORK (8-2) 19.16
Must win against Athens. Win and in, lose and out. If Wheelersburg loses N-Y could end up with a home game. They'd have to make sure Coal Grove doesn't jump them, and even Minford could come out of nowhere and pass them.

6 COAL GROVE (9-1) 19.10
Grove still could get a home game, but needs to have Wheelersburg lose, and have one more beaten opponent to win than N-Y (or N-Y lose out right). Either way, I see them no worse than the 6th seed.

7 RIDGEWOOD (10-0) 18.00
Can only improve position if others ahead that I've already mentioned to lose. Don't see them any higher than the 5th seed.

8 MONROE CENTRAL (8-2) 17.8985
Much like last week even though they are shown as the 8th seed, they are on solid ground. Nobody below them can win and pass them without knocking somebody above them below. Pretty much out of reach of Caldwell, but technically based on beaten opponents Caldwell could catch them. No matter what happens they can't catch Ridgewood, so the only way the can improve upon the 8th seed is for the likes of Wheelersburg or N-Y to lose.

9 CALDWELL (9-1) 16.65
Are there any bigger Athens Bulldog or P. West Senator fans than in Caldwell? Desparately needs one of those two teams to win in order to get in. Another long shot route would be catching Monroe Central. I'm not going through all the teams, but in general Caldwell would need to have 2 more secondary wins than MC during week 10. In this scenario I have MC getting 6 wins while Caldwell only getting 5.

10 ADENA (7-3) 15.85
Needs a LOT of help. Not only is it a must that both Wheelersburg and N-Y loses, they also have to watch secondary points because just those teams losing doesn't necessarily mean Adena still finishes above them.

11 MINFORD (7-3) 14.85
Pretty easy for Minford to figure out: beat Valley and they are in the playoffs. If they do they'd probably finish in the 6th seed area, and of course that could be improved upon if some of the teams already mentioned lose. Not totally out of the question that they could host.

Good luck to all Region 19 teams. It's been a great year again. Historically the cut off point has been in the 14.5 range, but for the second year in a row that has been smashed and will probably be in the 17 point range.

Awesome matchup Coop, but Valley AT Nelsonville-York sounds better to me 8) I believe they hooked up around '98 or so. My brother played in that game.

I just don't understand how Wheelersburg is #8 in Region 19 fighting to stay in the playoff picture. If you look at their schedule you could easily say they are for sure one of the top teams in the Region. They lost to Ironton, #1 in R 15 and to the #1 in R 19 Oak Hill. They lost by a combined 12 points to easily the top 2 teams around here.

Assuming NY beats Athens, cause the stars will have to line up if we lose, this is the way I figure it for NY.
Minford and Wheelersburg both win: #5 @ Coal Grove
Valley and Wheelersburg win: #6 @ Wheelersburg
Minford wins Burg loses: #4 home vs. Minford
Valley wins Burg loses: #5 @ Coal Grove

Anyone going to the Minfor/Valley and Wheelersburg/West games pm me with your cell # and we can update each other on Friday.
Good Luck to everyone that is still in the hunt.
