The 2nd period buried Waverly last night. Played it even the other three. I think VC has too much for Unioto to handle for 4 periods.

Miami Trace will have to get past FFU and Col South first. I definitely like the draw that VC has because I wouldn't want to face either of those teams in a district final/regional semi.

If Vinton County Does meet Miami Trace later in the tournament it would be a small miracle.

The Fairfield Union---Miami Trace winner plays a Columbus District Champion in the Regional Semis.

Columbus has 2 Districts this year. 1 goes to Athens with our 2 Southeast District Champs and 1 goes to Dayton with 3 Cincinnati/Dayton District Champs. The 1 Seed Columbus South chose to go into the District that fed into our Regional. And the 2 seed Columbus Desales and the 3 seed Eastmoor both followed into the same district which is usually unheard of. So the FU-MT winner has their hands full in the Regional Semis.

The VC--Unioto winner gets the Eastern District Champion and the #1 seed Steubenville didn't win their Sectional final 4 seed John Glenn plays 8 seed Buckeye Local and 2 seed Meadowbrook plays 3 seed New Philadelphia in the Eastern Districts. So the VC-Unioto winner has a much more winnable Regional Semi.

Vikings need to just keep playing like they have been. I think they are too quick for Unioto. Unioto did a good job on Ridge Young, but he seemed to be all Logan Elm really had as a big threat. VC has numerous players that can hurt a team. Can't wait til Friday night. Go Vikings!!!!

I know it was pre-season but VC beat Unioto by 30 in a scrimmage. I heard all players were there(at least contributors). But hey, that's why you play the game!!

This is almost a mirror image of last years game at the Convo but the teams have switched. Last year it was the "U" that hammered VC in the foundation game and was coming to the Convo big favorites. This year its just the opposite. VC won big earlier and are the favorites now. I think VC wins by 15+ but history tells us anything can happen at the Convo.
