Froggy, in no way am I sticking up for fan of whatever, but dude, New Lex could not win the TVC? You must be into the moonshine! Some folks at New Lex just want to look at the past 10-12 years and give no respect to anyone or anyhting in the past. There is no doubt NY has earned the respect from others and it is from being consistent for many years. The past 10 or 12 years New Lex would have won many of the TVC Titles, no doubt. New Lex is really down right now, last year they were simply terrible and this year not much better, could be a while before they get back on their feet. The main problem for New Lex is that they have to compete with schools that keep getting bigger every year and their programs are growing so fast. Not to mention that they must face programs like Sheridan and Tri Valley every year. I would bet that if New Lex did decide to join the TVC, there would be quite a few folks fighting that, and most do not want to see a program like New Lex in the league. I actually think that New Lex would be a great fit in the TVC and there is no doubt in my mind would win more than their share of titles.

I also think it would be much easier than NY getting in the MVL and having to play Sheridan, Tri Valley, John Glenn, New Lexington, just to mention a few every year.

My post was meant to sound ignorant just like fonofwhatever's. No doubt NL has put some fantastic teams on the field as has NY. My post was no disrespect to NL kids. I am sure they work hard just as every player on any team does. There are times NL would have beaten NY and vice-versa. But to listen to fan-o-crap one would believe that NY could never compete with NL and i promise you that is not the case. Good luck to both teams, stay healthy and have fun.

I wouldn't let FANOSPORT get me too upset after all he is use to watching WVU, so he wouldn't have a whole lot of football knowledge.

And I take it that this is someone from "RACINE SOUTHERN" telling me about great football teams and talking about football knowledge. I think their last winning football season was in 1973 with Ron Hill, Vern Ord, Mitch Nease and company. Now that's funny right there, I don't care what you say

The difference in you and I is you think WVU is a football power house and I don't pretend Southern is a football power. By the way Southern went 6-4 in 2006. Your posts tells me what you know of football, saying NY hasn't had any success until recent years, come on man.

WVU has beaten Oklahoma, Georgia, Georgia Tech and North Carolina in bowl games the past few years and won quite a few others before that. They're always in and around the top 20 and that's good enough for most of us fans for as small as the state is and the revenue & resources they have to work with. As far as the N-Y comment, I've never said they haven't been successful until the last few years (don't put words in my mouth) but success in the TVC, what does that prove year in and year out ? They won a state title 30 years ago (Middleport, Waterloo, Wahama, Ironton, Oak Hill, Wheelersburg, Pt. Pleasant and a lot of others along the river down there have also won some State titles in the past in various sports). As far as Southern goes, I'll apologize since they've had 3 winning football seasons in the last 36 years, my bad.

Sometimes it's better to just let people think you are unstable than to print stuff and actually prove it!

I think you've got it wrong and just what team is "my" team NY Bucks ? Both of my teams down that way are Wahama and Meigs so I don't know who you are saying can't stay in a league (Wahama has never been affiliated with a league except for the Little Kanawha Conference years ago and Meigs has always been in the SEOAL or TVC). You need to know what you're talking about before you spout off. I've got my ducks lined up, how about you ? I tend to know a little about a lot of teams down that way though and if you're talking about Ironton I don't think they ran from the SEOAL if that's what you're thinking. The travel , cost and all was just way too much according to most of their people.
