Tigers will be above average, but will have some tough games and teams to overcome this season.
2 very good teams from down the river, not to mention the tomcats from ashland.
season will have hills and valleys, just hope the valleys are not toooo deeeep.

This is always a battle, and I expect the same this year. 2 great progarams with a bunch of pride. This will be a great game as always but I have to go with the Tigers this year 28-14

Absolutely, you can never underestimate Wheelersburg or any team for that matter and The Burg is very talented and highly competitive, expect them to bring a great effort but the Fighting Tigers prove to be too much this year. I am sticking with the original prediction, Ironton 30-7 over Da Burg! 8)

I feel a low scoring battle in the first half battle....back and forth..a couple turnovers and penalties...

Then this is where I believe IHS will begin to dominate. We will be far from tired.
Wilks, Hager, and Warner will be hard to stop. These boys put in more hours in the weight room this past summer than I put in work hours.

The bottom line with Ironton as it is in any year they will make the playoffs and they will go as far as the run carries them. I know people will quote examples of teams that won state titles such as Hilliard Davidson whop won without passing much but for the most part you will not go real deep in the playoffs if you do not pass the ball. And do it more than once or twice a game.

depends how dominate you are up front. Ironton should open up a lil bit more though, they have the talent to burn teams ecpecially cz noone games for it.
