PRAYERS FOR NORTHWEST PLAYER INJURED TODAY IN SCRIMMAGE

I hope the young man injured in the Portsmouth vs Northwest scrimmage today is OK. He laid motionless for more than 20 minutes before being rushed to the hospital. I heard he was lifted to Columbus shortly after he arrived at the hospital. The young man is a member of the Northwest Mohawk football team If there is any word please let us know.

Any word on his condition? I was there, but have no idea what happened.

I spoke to a Northwest parent this morning and the young man has a torn ligament in his leg and had what she called a spinal concussion. He had numbness in his leg yesterday afternoon but is feeling better today. Numbness is gone and movement is back.
