Week 1 - Southern at Symmes Valley
Week 1 - Southern at Symmes Valley
Thoughts on this one? Southern has a new coach and new system? They have struggled with the Vikings in the past. What are they bringing to the table this year?
Re: Week 1 - Southern at Symmes Valley
Southern will be really young with about half of their 22 players being freshman. Lost starting qb, both starting rb"s and wr's and te. Could be a long year for the Tornadoes.

Perfection In Purple you ought to move to Racine. Then you wouldn't have to worry what Southern is doing you would know.

Symmes Valley has done well in scrimmages against Huntington Ross and Alexander and had no trouble with Rock Hill in the Jamboree Game.mattash wrote:Hows SV played in scrimmages?

Vikings by 24 points. Vikings will go 9-1 this year. This is also the year the purple and while taste defeat at home from the Vikings! Yes it is true people. The Vikings will finally beat the panthers! Bank on it!
Suggestion for the Tornados fans making the trip to SV. BYOPC!

PurpleInPerfection ......was that "cattleballs" or "cowbells" that Southern was using ???
Symmes looks tough with a solid group of upperclassmen if juniors are included in that group.
There is a possible bright spot in a freshman running back if he is committed to being a Viking.
Only time will tell.....one game at a time, conditioning and team work may create a memorable season for the Vikes

I agree with your last statement bum, if the Vikings keep working hard and keep their heads on straight, it could be a very special year.
