South Webster had a lot of possession & chances, but had trouble getting it past Minford's defense & GK. Minford ran the transition counter attack well. Patterson's goal at the end came from a nice cross from Scott. It was an exciting finish!

Waverly outshot West 55-2. West's keeper played an outstanding game and played great being under pressure all night. Josh Nalian, Davis Remy and Brady Collins all did an outstanding job for Waverly controlling the middle of the field as well as the pace of the game.

That is still a roster issue. I hope they get it together. The coach does a good job with his team and this is an obvious oversight. I would have thought the AD would have made sure the physicals were turned in before they were allowed to play in the previews.

Kudos to Waverly for backing off in the second half. I have watched this team work on passing and ball control in the second half when they have a big lead. That's the sign of a class program.

Eastern got a new 1st year A.D. and the coach got a job promotion and has had alot on his mind.
