Some of these kids have known each other for years. Some of the Piketon boys even played pee wee football at Minford. This group of young men have always fought hard when they have faced each other and I don't forsee tonight being any different.

I do think Minford has the upper-hand and if they play like they are capable of playing it will be a lop-sided victory. However, if Minford comes in thinking they can take it easy this week, they will be in for a dog fight.

My prediction is the Minford boys know what they need to do and they go in and get it done. Minford's 1st team comes out of the game in the 4th and the 2nd team gives up a score. Final: Minford 34-14

Complete and total domination by the Falcons. Wasn't expecting that. Speed killed the Streaks. League starts next week, so forget about tonight and get back to work on Monday. Best of luck to Minford the rest of the year.

Saw Minford a lot in track season this past spring. The Falcons will be a tough out in D5.

Minford played a good game. They had alot of big plays called back early from penalties (?) but settled down and dominated the game. They played fast and physical. Defense again looked really good. O line looking better, playing meaner.

Very good game by #3, #5, #2 and #88.

Good luck to the Streaks the rest of the year.

Great win for the Falcons. They dominated from the start of the game, The Big Red Machine was rolling tonight. Defense was playing the ball well, the O-line was getting some holes and the backs were hitting them hard. The team got a lot better again this week, if they can keep doing this they will have an outstanding year. Piketon fought hard but just couldn't really ever put much together, they will win some games this year if the keep at it. Good to see Minford put the game away and get the starters out and let the 2nd's and 3rd's play some. Kudos to the JV's for a goal line stand and a TD as well as moving the ball and eating clock at the end of the game. Falcons will need to watch the film and correct a few things and just go back to work again next week. Good win for the Falcons they really looked good tonight.

This was a good win for the Falcons tonight. They dominated from beginning to end. They had some big games out of some big impact players tonight, with Butcher, Slone, Piguet, and Gaines stepping up and making plays. Defense was impressive also. However, some things will need improvement before they enter conference play. I'm sure Coach Daniels and the rest of his staff will have that taken care of though. Overall, a great, dominant performance by the Falcons tonight. Congrats and keep up the hard work.
