Marietta will get beat badly, no stopping Wasonga the kid is a true talent if he can continue to improve an take away his cocky attitude then its only up-hill for the young man.

Re: Week - 2 Parkersburg @ Marietta
Marietta needs to worry about Morgan first. But to answer your question, here is what I believe will be Pburg's offensive gameplan. Wasonga left, right and up the middle. In my opinion he's the best back around bar none and will most likely have at least 200+ yds and 3 TD's this game.
Re: Week - 2 Parkersburg @ Marietta
No Wasonga against Brooke, anyone know what the reason is?
No mention of details in the article from the Parkersburg paper

Go Tigers Go!
I'm sure Coach Farnsworth will have his kids ready for this one.

I know Wasonga had some grade problems but I thought he went to the alternative school to get the grades up, he is pictured in the roster on the big reds website so I am not totally sure. Maybe he violated a team rule and wasn't allowed to play I know last year Coach Butrie enforced those rules on Justin Johnson and Wasonga a couple of times.

The Big Reds' leading rusher was Chad Collins, who had 25 yards on 11 carries. Parkersburg running back Allan Wasonga did not play due to an injury.

To answer your question Schenk, Mr.Wasonga complained of an injury to his hip all week in practice. Come game time he was ready to go. Say what you want about Reeves but you have to practice to play. I think that is a great rule and one that should be stuck with. Coach did and probably lost the game because of it. The rest of the big Reds need to step up and play better. It looks like as of today Wasonga will be #3 on the Depth chart. I would have to say he will learn a lesson from this and practice if he can and he will be ready for Marietta. I think Marietta can win this game with ball control. You can do it Tigers!!!

Re: Week - 2 Parkersburg @ Marietta
I heard a rumor he is serving a two game suspension
thats what my people on the ground in pburg told me

Re: Week - 2 Parkersburg @ Marietta
He would have played Friday at Brooke, if he hadn't told them he was too injuried to play.
Here are my thought on AW:
Ok, I've set back and been supporting him, now its time to post my thoughts on last night.
Going into Thursday he was PLAYING,
He told them he couldn't go, because HE was hurt.
Not certain if it came directly from him or the trainer.
Sometime you got to suck it up and GO PLAY
Its all about HIM and getting ATTENTION, and nothing about the TEAM
and this thread is another ATTENTION getter for him.
He isn't BIGGER than the Parkersburg High Big Reds Football Program.
He needs to START practicing and playing for the name on the front of his jersey, NOT the headline in some paper, on some message board, or talk show.
This is the last time I'll say anything about AW until he actually does something on the FIELD during a GAME this year.
Thanks,
ED

My thought on Parkersburg vs Marietta:
As much as I like Coach Farnsworth he doesn't have the horses to get this W
His coaching will keep them in it for a while, and will have many Parkersburg people sweating bullets, but in the 2nd half Big Reds put it away.

The Tigers were in it last year until minutes before the half.

If Wasonga plays, Big Reds by 28, If he doesn't it could get hairy.
