Austin Wilson, Gallia Academy onside kick recovery, interception oh and 4 tds. 130 yards on ground another 80 in air and not sure on how many kick and punt return yardage.

to sum in up over 200 yards on ground and in air ( roughly 300 all purpose yards) 4 tds, a pick and a onside kick recovery. not a bad night

i have to submit warren's offence line for player of the week. They blocked for 344 yards rushing & 76 passing. They only punted the ball one time during the entire game. Most impressive was the blocking, every play they were blocking 5-10 yards down the field. Warren had 5+ rushers with impressive yard running behind the O-line.

RB Westen Hale of Oak Hill.
Became leading rusher at Oak Hill this past Friday. Don't know yardage, Paul Boggs said he set the record just before Halftime.

Nothing really stands way out there so far. My vote would go to the Wellston football team. Doing something they havent done in around 20 years.

GAHS's Austin Wilson's effort against Athens will be one of the top all around performances of the year. Quite possibly the best all around effort of the year. Omitted was his running down an Athens back who had broken clear, saving a TD.

Austin Wilson hands down...

He was a Freak last Friday Night...take him out of the game, and it would have been a whole different ball game..

The Kid is a player, and made BIG plays when the situation called on it...
