Burg fans- you are forgetting that you are playing a very talented Oak Hill team AT OAK HILL. They have exceptional athletes at the skill positions and their line is very good. Did I mention their defense is solid too?


I think that Burg can win this game, but dont think for a second that you are going to march up there and let the color on your helmet scare Oak Hill. Heck they have waited for this week for a long time. Burg fans are sounding alot like they did last year the week they played "lowly Minford" who outplayed Burg the entire second half and pulled out not only a win, but the Gold Football.

Dont get ahead of yourselves and you might win this game. One thing is for sure, most of you have no idea what type of a team you are facing Friday.

Oakhill is going to be able to pass the ball all over wheelersburgs secondary. Might just be my opinion but I'm not impressed with Burgs D like i have been in recent years. Schank is going to have to take over this game come friday night If they want to come out of OH with a W. JMHO

Some of you people posting a blowout win by the Burg better wake up and be careful what you wish for.

Wasn't it a few years ago that after Burg lost the first game to Ironton they traveled to South Point and were beat, by a team the so called experts on here said they should "destroy".


If Oak Hill can give Slone time, he just might have a field day on the Burg secondary. This won't be Ironton's style of offense of running up the middle every play. Don't be surprised if the Oaks don't spread it out, which will more than likely open up the running game.

If the Pirates go into the game believeing all the crap that is on here, they will be in trouble.

im an oak hill fan and i believe in my oaks! can the game go either way i do think so! burg has to stop the pass and oaks has to stop #7!!!! burg dont do that and the oaks put up some points and might win the game! oaks dont stop #7 then its gonna get crazy!

You're right it's Oakhill. A good football team that is out near jackson. Now if it was East or Green then yeah i would understand where you're coming from but as far as i know Oakhill is a really good football team this year as they were last year an 50-13? yeah maybe if Schank has 400 yards Rushing Passing and Recieving and there Defense has a guy Sitting there by Slone the whole time. I'm not saying the Burg is going to get killed or they wont make it a good game because the 20 years i've been living i've yet to witness the burg lay down for anybody nor make it a good game. The Burg is a very good team. But I seem to remember them not wanting to play another Jackson County team...huh....but now they agree to play the smallest school in Jackson county.

Oak Hill has a team to be proud of and they are fighting to prove they can play with the big boys.

Oh, by the way, the call against Minford that brought the ball back......was a block in the back on Drew Cannon. I took pictures that night and he was tackled from behind not just hit. And for some reason the Sloan boy from Minford didn't get the ball much after the first half.....that is what suprised me the most about that game.
