Oak Hill rolls. The Redmen might win 3 games in the OVC. And I say that as someone who has deep admiration for Coach Knipp.
Re: WEEK 3 OAK HILL (2-0) at ROCK HILL (0-2)
just cause i dont root for any ovc team doesnt mean i wont give them their due when deserved but only wins earn that and they have developed a culture of losing that will feel like a decade....... glad my wit impressed you though it probably doesnt take much to impress youRedmenPirate wrote:What decade are you referring to? The 2000s? The same decade where RH went to the playoffs three times? Two years does not a decade make. You make yourself sound so intelligent when you post cute little things like that. And to think, all this negativity stems from you still being bitter over your ex that just happens to be from Rock Hill. Awww, how sweet. Is it that time of the month again?tl895 wrote:the decade of despair for the hill.....

I'm gonna go ahead and say Oak Hill big in this one. Too much offense for the Oaks for RH to withhold. RH still playing like a young team. Too many mistakes.

Also, why is their always an Ironton fan on every RH page downgrading everything RH does? Just wondering. I mean, decade of despair? Really? We made the playoffs 3 times in the last 7 years. Not bragging at all, just saying, anybody from any school would say thats a pretty good accomplish stemming from only 1 playoff appearance leading up to those. Not bad I'd say. Yes, we all know Ironton is football power in the state and have made like 27 playoff appearances and won 2 State Titles. Great!! But making the playoffs is a great achievement for any school and we'll take that in pride.

I too am a coach knipp fan and wish him the best but I gotta say that oak hill runs away with this one by halftime
Re: Week 3 Oak Hill @ Rock Hill
I've seen both play. I actually think that Rock Hill's QB is better than Oak Hill's QB. He just doesn't have the protection nor the target's to go to that Oak Hill does right now. Also, the Oak's running game is much better, so you can't just focus on pass D. Oak Hill will win pretty easily because of this.

MinFalcon: I agree with you almost totally! While I don't know if McCollister is "better", he's a darn good QB on a lousy team. Despite his surroundings, he can still show you what he's capable of when he gets a shot.

Okay, McCollister is certainly a great quarterback, one of the best, but the rest of the RH team is far from lousy. The Oline, the Dline, receivers, backs, linebackers and not to stop there but there is alot of talented athletes on that team all around and lousy just isn't a cool term. Fuzzhead, I like you and I was surprised by that comment. I mean you can pick us to lose all day but I have stand up and by all those redmen.
Sure, I know what people see with our record right now but I think that's a mistake. Hey I am not gonna break down the offense and defense in those games but don't totally be fooled by our loss-
Go Redmen!!!
