Lawson won't be back for this one. He will be out for at least 4 weeks. Probably will be back week 7 against Wellston. Definitely will be back against Athens week 8.

These N-Y people are something else. Just got beat by a DVI Newark Catholic team who is down this year from previous years but will be loaded in the coming 4 or 5 years. Bishop Ready comes to town in a couple weeks for a "big" eye opener and who knows how the St. Clairsville game will turn out. They may be big and bad in the TVC but outside teams look at them as just another opponent. N-Y might "pack" the TVC all the time in the playoffs but when are you going to win one. Anyway: Alex 21 Unioto 14

This game will be a test for a young Alexander team, with Unioto much improved this year and Alexander needing to improve, especially in the first 24 minutes. Alexander's line on both sides of the ball has to play well for success this week.

Good luck to both teams, and see you at the game.

Lawson, was a playmaker. Big loss for the boys. But i dont see that stopping them from putting another W on the win Column

Lawson's absence is huge. He's a playmaker, and a significant part of the Spartan offense. His absence would impact my pick, especially against a stronger opponent. I've already provided my opinion on this game earlier in the thread.

With Alex's non league schedule being so weak, they will not have a problem not having Lawson. They do have some good senior leadership, which according to the paper Chapman has provided. They really won't need him until they play Athens, Wellston and NY.

As long as the Chapman boy stays healthy the Spartans will be fine. They also have the best kicker in SEO,will keep them in many games.

Great game!!! Congrats to Unioto on a hard fought game. Alex had way too many mistakes. 2 missed Fg's and a fumble at Uniotos 1 yard line trying to score really cost them especially when the Tanks go 99 yards in 2 plays for the go ahead TD. Fun game to watch. I would love to see the film and see where the ball carrier was when Alex had the Tanks backed up under 2 min in regulation with a tie score. I thought they got the safety both times. That was exciting!

P.S. Orange and Brown stfu, no one likes you and if Karma exist Nelsontucky would experience Karma more then anybody. FG practice was obviously needed. They were both 40+ yard FG's.
