Calpreps is probably close though I don't think either team would score that much. I've only seen Oak Hill once this year and Ironton twice. Oak Hill's QB is not quite the talent that Ashland's QB is and I think that the Oak Hill and Ashland lines are very similar. Ironton would prove to be too strong up front and too fast on defense for Oak Hill to have much success.
Ironton 30
Oak Hill 8

Early in the season i think Oak Hill plays Ironton close. later in the season I think Ironton has a big, big edge. I dont see how you are going to get better playing the weak schedule that oak Hill has played. I like Ironton by at least 17 points in this fictional matchup.

Got it from the horses mouth, Ironton offered OH $5K to play us and Norm scheduled the Burg instead.

Do you guys still want a piece of the Tigers? After Minford shut you out and we dismantled GAHS and Ashland? I think NOT!

Oak hill without thier Qb/De. South east player of the year!! And they still hung with the Falcons. I think OH coulda played with ironton this year. I dont care what anyone says. They have a special group. What I am least happy about is all the other posters on here saying this and that but their teams wont even play Ironton. So, Burgs the WORD!!

GA pummled WHS with their best player and OH beat a Praterless WHS team by a couple scores but even the WHS fans are saying only one team really beat them up badly and that was GA. Also, the Osborn kid while good was maybe the 4th or 5th fastest kid and best back GA has seen so far this early season. We will see 3 much much better when we play the Tigers this weekend and OH fans are giving him props for being a player. We will see what happens between GA and IHS this weekend but if the game is even close either way, then IHS would manhandle OH. If the worst happens and IHS beats the Blue by a couple scores (or more) then I would say IHS is 4-5 scores better than OH.

Thats crazy talk right there. No disrespect to real Ironton fans, but you would be in for a rude awakening. Both Oak Hill and Minford have alot of weapons on offense. This isnt shut down one back and win the game like it was against Burg. And Ironton couldnt stop one back in Shankweiler!
Lmao @ the rude awakening comment. No disrespect to Oak Hill or Minford fans, but Ironton at this point in the season would beat either team by at least 4 TD's.

I watched the Ashland/Ironton game and was less than impressed with Ashland. Had heard they werent good this year prior to game. This game between Oak Hill and Ironton will never be played this year. One thing for sure, it wouldn't be a blowout.

Ashland is every bit as good if not better than Oak Hill or Minford. They were just manhandled by a much better team in Ironton. As I posted before...at this point in the season Ironton would beat Oak Hill or Minford by 3-4 td's.

Your opinion. This is mine. Got to see them play. No disrespect to Ashland but Kentucky ball is just not the same as Ohio. There is more than one SEOhio team that could beat Ashland this year.

Since this game will never happen why keep this thread going?

I think they want there quaterback to make the whole season. If he played against Ironton I think he would spend alot of the game on his back.......... Tiger defense would not give him time to throw the ball.

Yeah, but West gave them a real fight......

Actually what I-Town-90 said is completely accurate.
You're just a Tiger hater aren't you. What did we ever do to you? Beat you too bad?
