You speak of Chillicothe being 5 times bigger than Waverly. Waverly is 6 times bigger than New Boston and 5 times bigger than Clay as far as school enrollment goes.
So, what's your point? Waverly plays 13 league games out of the total of 16 that is allo.wed by the OHSAA. The other 3 games are scheduled with Div 2 teams, Jackson, Unioto and Chillicothe. By the way Waverly has a football team which Webster, New Boston and Clay do not. In soccer, Waverly has just secured the 5th championship in the last eight years.
Re: Boys Southeast District
You never seem to get it! You complain because Chillicothe is bigger than Waverly and you can't see the opposite side. I did not say anything about South Webster. Waverly has always had excellent soccer teams and I congratulate the Tigers on their 5th championship in 8 years..........that is quite an accomplishment.
Good Luck in the tournament!

Re: Boys Southeast District
There has been some talk on the size of area schools. listed below is the enrollment figures for the Southeast District D2 schools, Boys grades 9-11. (Per the OHSAA website)
Marietta 393
Athens 363
Warren 362
Hillsboro 346
Chillicothe 331
Miami Trace 312
Jackson 301
Circleville 290
Logan Elm 274
Gallia 268
Washington CH 266
McClain 261
Waverly 253
Unioto 246
Fairfield Union 241
Zane trace 211
Enrollment figures don't always mean a whole lot. Take Zane Trace and Fairfield Union for instance. Doing just fine despite their smaller size. They are interesting to look at though......
This week is "count week" for schools. The figures that are compiled from this week's attendance data will determine divisions for the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 school years.

Re: Boys Southeast District
Looks like another hard-fought Athens / Marietta game was played last night. Marietta is now 1-1-2 in their last 4 games after starting 11-0, very interesting. Their end-of-the-year schedule was tougher than their earlier schedule. Going to Logan for the final game still takes on importance. Warren can tie Marietta for the SEOAL crown with a Marietta loss. (Marietta has already clinched a share of the league crown) Logan has been very tough at home this year.
