The black and orange make me nervous. I think this team is a wounded animal about to come out fighting......It will be close.

Belpre 12
Wahama 21

Game is on the White Falcons home turf. Not that it would matter, as they'd win in Belpre as well. Falcons march on to a TVC title. No one left on the schedule to stop them now.

I ran into a southern coach this weekend and he was laughing about something a Belpre coach had said as the clock was winding down friday. Apparently the coach made the comment that Belpre losing to Southern was "like Ohio State losing to a MAC school".

All I can say is WOW! and I have a question, if Southern is a MAC school, does that make Wahama a C-USA school?

I'm not taking up for the Belpre coach but if he's been around the program for a number of years I can understand his frustration. Belpre historically (in the last 3 decades or so at least) has fielded decent teams, sometimes great teams in most sports. In the last few years with job losses and declining enrollment they have been down athletically more than I've ever seen them and it has to be frustrating losing to a school that wouldn't in the not too distant past, not be able to compete with them on the football field. (JMO & observation)

If they go down in week 12 (which Cromley coached teams typically do, by wide margins I might add), I'll be good with that because there will be 250 other teams in SEO and SW WV who will already be sitting at home watching by that time of the year.

Another setback for Belpre. Looks like the Eagles will be without Tyler Watkins (pulled hamstring) and Erik Wadeker( health issues). With QB Cay Ullman already out all of Belpre's offensive threats are gone.

This one gets ugly very early and Wahama wins by as many as they want.

That also depletes their defense, don't know if it's worth making the trip to Mason. But I think the young kids stepping in will give it all they got and will do the best they can to keep it respectable. All I can say is GO YOUNG EAGLES!!!

I think it's in Wahama's hands as to how many points they will score, as Belpre's def. looked very porous with Waderker and Watkins, it'll get ugly without them. Hopefully some of the other seniors will step up. Anxious to see who makes the backfield--Martin, Miller, Lockhart, Hatfield...could all fit the bill until we get some healthy kids back.

This season is starting to get very rough...Coach Adams, these kids out,...hopefully we'll get good news versus bad sometime soon.

Good luck, Eagles.

Do all the Adams brothers sit in the stands and bash their own brother like they do every other coach at Belpre? I thought Belpre was supposedly going to be VASTLY improved with one of Ralph Holders boys now running the program??????
