Re: Ashland (4-0) @ Ironton (3-0)
Just read this mornings edition of The Ashland Daily Independant. Coach Lutz says"We have been rather soft to put it bluntly." He went on to say "Defensively we are not taking people on. Teams have moved the ball on us when they shouldnt have been able to. We havent played with any zip." Now if I was playing for Ironton I would take this personally and prove my coach wrong! If we come off the ball and eliminate stupid mistakes nobody can beat this team. If you cant get up for this game and play with a little fire under your ass then you cant get up for any game!!

Game of the week in souther ohio for sure.. I gaurente one thing the boys will feel this game on both sides when they get up Saturday morning..
Re: Ashland (4-0) @ Ironton (3-0)
This will help measure how far Ironton will go this year a win will help a really big win will help even greater but a loss will put us at a playoff run of maybe second round.
Thinking Ironton is better than they have shown and expect a big win here from Ironton.

Never did consider Coach Lutz much of a "sandbagger" but have seen him hold kids back til they are ready. I expect to see a big surprise at the Tank tomorrow night.

Re: Ashland (4-0) @ Ironton (3-0)
Just in case a few Ironton fans are not aware...
against Russell, Ashland had 8 possessions. These resulted in 8 TDs, no punts, no turnovers.
That's just impressive, I don't care if it was against Russell. I think Ironton is going to have to step things up big time.
