Wow why would you bring this up from last year? Also before every game last year Warren would go to the middle of the field to get pumped for the game. So would you rather Warren "dance" on the Trojan head in the middle of the field at the end of the game when Warren wins this Year!!

Big time SEOAL title implications in this match-up. Hope both teams play well and stay healthy.

Have gotten to know Coach Schob the last few years and also met Coach Clifford this summer at the North/South game, couple of great guys with great football teams.

Dance where you must, the only place this is an issue is on this or other fan boards. The game will be won or lost on the field Friday night. Portsmouth was once a program known for its solid defense and team speed. What has happened to the Defense?
Until we can get our mental errors corrected, penalties, tackling issues, etc etc,we are just another football team.......
I like Warren in a close game....show me something Trojans!

Isn't high school football season awesome!!! Here we have two teams going in what seems like
different directions yet we can rag each other ( hopefully in fun ). Trojans must get ready and play
some "D", something the last two games they have not,(opponents had something to do with this)
and Warren welcome to Portsmouth and teams have a clean, safe and fun game...you guys are only
in high school for such a short time---so enjoy.....

The new season for the Portsmouth Trojans starts this Friday. I really hope the Trojans haven't lost confidence this early in the year. I mean, you have to be positive. You were just barely beat at Wheelersburg in a game that could have went either way, and I think if that game is at a neutral field or at Portsmouth, you might pull out that close game. Looking at the schedule, I think Portsmouth has a great chance at being 6-2 by the time Logan and Ironton coming calling in weeks 9 and 10. And if you just win one of those games and go 7-3 you are going to the playoffs. If you can't win 1 of 2 games at home with that motivation, you don't deserve to go to the playoffs. The schedule you play rewards you with beatable bigger schools. So, playoff points will be easy to come by. But, just focus on Warren. That is the only team that matters now.

Watched the replay of the portsmouth - burg game. Portsmouth looked like the better team, they just make too many mistakes that kill themselves. Their defense looked alot better for large parts of the game. I have no idea what they were doing on that last play. Burg had a wing to their right. Portsmouth's DE was lined up over the d tackle. The only guy out their was a small olb. Burg just blew them out of there on that sweep. Undisciplined mistakes like that kill portsmouth.

I totally agree! They definitely came to play against Burg, and hadn't been for so many mistakes, I believe they would have came away with the win. The defense looked so much better, and overall seemed to be more focused. They make silly mistakes and get penalties and then get frustrated and lose focus. And I have to say, I was proud of our fans at the Burg game for being loud and cheering for the team! Keep that enthusiasm up! I for one, had no voice the next day for screaming and cheering so much. Win or lose, I love my Trojans and will continue to support them and cheer them on. Even if it does mean losing my voice!

My head hurts. Enough, let the kids play the game. Warren needs a better proformance on "D", period. Offense is coming together. averaging over 450 yds per game. Can score running and passing. Leffingwell is surrounded by Fivecoait, Venham, Vincent and Hastie is back. Big "O" line, Henthorne, Harlow, Miller. All this can make the diofference

I know you guys will hate me for posting this........ and I know at least half of you dont care and you only care about the next game being played..... anywho....... Warren with the win against Athens actually moved backwards just slightly. Before the win against Athens they were 12th in the region 7 division 2. Now they are tied for 12th. All the teams they have beat are winless. I think this Portsmouth game is a must win at least for this week..... although I think Athens is better than they're record, and Belpre right now isn't looking the best. Morgan.... I don't know much about them except Marietta beat them too (Marietta is surprisingly looking better than I thought they would look). I think Warren will eventually get secondary points on some of these teams...... but right now its time to beat some teams that do have wins...... like Portsmouth!!!

If you wanna keep it simple now..... this is the first step right here toward a potential SEOAL title with a win against Portsmouth..... lets go blue!!!!!

Ptown has played the tougher competition. Can't really judge Warren on what we have seen thus far. Which team will practice harder this week and want it more???

Is this game going to be on any internet radio station? I may not be able to go to this game, unless I can find a ride with somebody.

I bet the TROJANS are sick of seeing orange and black 3 straight games against orange and black and two more games left this season probably glad to see a different color. Good luck to the TROJANS.
