Nice job to the oaks on the victory. I was really proud of wellston's effort tonight. Oak hill brought it all night and wellston gave them a dog fight. In the end the oaks won the game and were the better team. I wish them the best of luck all the way through the end of the season.

I just think it's funny how some people on this thread predicted a thrashing by the oaks. You guys thought wellston was gonna lay down and let the oaks win. It looks to me like wellston gave the oaks all they wanted tonight. So much for wellston being soft, huh? How do you like them apples?

The Rockets played good football last night and they have had a tough schedule. The thing I like about Wellston is they will hit and hit for four quarters. But they have always done that. Good luck the rest of the season for the Rockets. Let’s hope the Falcons can slap a big L on the Oaks. The Oaks are ready for Plucking!

With the missed opportunities, the score should have ended up 24-14 Oaks, with Prater playing I could see it ending up 24-21 Oaks. I doubt he would have thrown the INTs. Still Wellston fought with everything they had but were just outmatched by the Oaks. Good game to take in on a Saturday night.

Give credit where credit is do. Oak hill is very good. Wellston did shut down oak hills passing game but could not stop the run. Big goal line stands for both teams. Good luck to both teams throughout the rest of the year.

ontheriver, did shutting down the passing game give you a win, no.. maybe something to build off of, but when wellston was having trouble with the run,why keep passing.and boiler, what is a 1-3 team called? great, bad, dominate,ok, just curious.

I though the Rockets would be able to stop the run better than they did. I really expected the Oaks to win the game through the air, I guess when you have one back with 192 yards rushing and another with 93, you don't have to go to the air. To me it seemed that Oak Hill was using their passing game as a diversion. Throw a couple of deep passes to soften up the corners then run sweeps over to the edge. This game seemed alot like the OH scrimmage I saw earlier, they didn't seem to play well, yet at one point were up three scores.

A 1-3 wellston team that has lost to three teams that are unblemished, and only being really whipped on by one. Oak Hill, Minford and Gallia are playoff squads. If u tell me the oak hill fans weren't bitting there nails lastnight, I'm gonna call u a liar. I think wellston has a long ways to go, but there a sound and solid team. Anyways goodluck to the oaks the rest of the way. Go rockets.

With him in we were still going to win. I wish he was going to play. Now, the only reason we win is because he isn't playing. Just wait till after the game and read the posts.

I would love to see how well your team would play without Jesse. It would make a big difference.
