Well, part of the reason NY-Ironton stopped is because it was a week 9 game. NY had a non-league week 9 nonleague game because of the odd number of teams in the TVC OHIO with the addition of Athens. When Belpre moved down to the TVC Hocking, the Ohio had league games from weeks 6-10 again.

As long as the TVC OHIO stays with its current membership, an NY-Ironton game could now only happen in weeks 2-5, assuming both were free in one of those weeks. They both already have established week 1 games.

good move by the chieftains to get nelsonville on their schedule again will generate alot of revenue from ticket sales to the concession stands for both teams hopefully it'll be a good game.

Honestly I'd rather see the Chiefs play Athens than N-Y. Yeah, I know, Athens left the SEOAL and everyone's all butthurt about it wah wah... Seriously, though, for a D2 team like Logan that wants to continually enhance their image they should never WILLINGLY schedule any team below D3. That's not to say I don't have any respect for Nelsonville, they're a consistently good football team and the old highway rivalry between Logan is always a good time, but there's no real prestige in a D2 playing a D5.

Sure there is prestige.... Logan may be down this year, but this is a hiccup in their standards and NY is a consistent power.. Not to mention the gate tickets that would be brought in... I would like to see NY come to Logan twice, not only would Logan get great gate receipts, I would too.... hehehehe.... But for real a home and home schedule in the short term would be great... :)

I bet people from Athens would pay to park in your yard, too :)
