You needed this win and hubby and I and our kids knew you could do it.

You have our support and your confidence took a big boost tonight....well deserved.
The reason why everyone is scratching their heads is because if you look back on previous posts NOBODY and I mean NOBODY gave these kids a chance to win! I guess the Cavs had other plans and it worked....this could be the boost that they needed....Go Cavs!

Definately the SHOCKER of the week. Not only the win but judging by the score and stats listed above it appears the Cavs dominated this contest. Were that alot of turnovers?

Time to get back in the saddle and get ready for jackson, it's not going to get any easier. The Trojans are very talented and can still compete for a SEOAL title.

Though this was a disappointing game, I'm more disappointed by the Chillicothe fans. Everyone that was in our group at the game was harassed by Chilli fans. I understand they're excited about the win, they have a right to be, but there was no excuse for the way they acted.

No one gave them a chance . I will admit I was shocked by the ease with which the win was accomplished but here is a quote from a post I made earlier in the week.

To beat Portsmouth...1. must stop running game and keep receivers in check ( here Chillicothe has an opportunity because Cavs DBs match up well athletically ) 2. Must move ball and keep possession, if not score, on offense ( challenge for O Line Hey West must have done this ) 3. Have a very solid night on special teams AND no penalties.
Last year Portsmouth was a heavy favorite and game was not totally decided until late when Portsmouth got a huge interception...We will see if Chillicothe is headed in right direction at varsity level after this game. Time for these seniors ( yes, Chillicothe is a senior heavy team starting at least 8 on both sides of football ) to step up and play.

1. Portsmouth had virtually no running game and Cavs did wayyy more than keep receivers in check. Basically shut them down.
2. Moved ball VERY well and controlled clock, field position, and scoring opportunities.
3. Special team play ( until KO return ( see Ohio State ) ) very good. And only a couple of penalties
XXX Seniors stepped up, stepped out, and kicked a whole bunch of Trojan #&* Congrats to all on Cav team.

Congrats to Chilly on thier first win of the year they play great. Don't say they shut the receivers down when the QB couldn't throw the ball on target. If Myers plays this game I believe Chilly is 0-5. But it doesn't matter I'm not taking anything away from the Chilly kids tonight they put it to our trojans. I said it early in the week, it's easy for the backup to do well when the other team isn't prepared for them. But give a good coach a week to prepare and he will show everyone why that kid is the backup.

Congrats to Chilli for the big win! In my thoughts, I have to believe it didnt matter whom played qb for the Trojans, when they rush for 307 yards and you get 91 total yards, those stats show an obvious domination of the game at the line of scrimmage. Really a disapointing season for My Trojans, everyone one of us fans had high hopes for a good year.I guess thats why we are just fans

Congratulations to the Cavaliers on the win.......they completed outplayed the Trojans from start to finish.

Even if Josh Myers plays this game, Chillicothe still would have won.......one player doesn't make up for a 41-7 shellacking, even though Josh is a very good QB........the Trojans' defense simply didn't show up, and for the third time this year allowed over 30 points.

Rocky1234: I stand by what I said about the Warren game, and I disagreed with you, and now you disagree with me.......that's fine by me........but one player would not have made the difference last night.......the Cavaliers were the superior team by far........no matter who the QB was. Mason had a spectacular game vs. Warren, and last night struggled.......it was only his second start.......and being inexperienced, he will have problems with consistency........but with time I think he will be a fine QB.

Must have been a complete 180 from last week when by all accounts they were excellent hosts to Athens.

I can vouch for trojangal, it was only a couple of fans but it did happen, nothing big.

why do fans from other teams come sit on visitors side when they are at home? and thats not really that big of deal, but then to sit ride in the center where they know all the visitors teams "parents and friends and fans' will be sitting, then act like idiots ..even when your team is up 30 plus points?

for the most part, chilli fans were great, they was there suppoting their team, even though they have won only a few games in two years.

congrats on the win and good luck
