gym rat, wahama will be in the top 3 based on talent alone. Talent will get you by most nights in the hocking because its not a league with much coaching talent outside of Howie and Jeff.

I see your point. I guess that must be why Howdee won his first league title in 10 years last season and Jeff has never won one?

They probably don't have anyone that will start JV. He said they were decent players, not players that would come in and make an immediate impact. South Gallia has a Freshmen team that I am sure those guys will play on and work to get better and get some experience at the High School level.

Seth Jerrell is a very good offensive player, Mike Wheeler and Ethan Spurlock will all see alot of playing time for the JV. Ethan Swain, Gus Slone and Jacob White also.

Early season match-ups will be key. The slowest teams out of the gate will be in serious trouble. I can also see the TVC-Hocking Champ going 12-4 in league play, whoever it is. I would also be willing to bet that NOBODY in the TVC goes undefeated this season.
Trimble will not be as low as #7....

I always like to look at the team non league games, especially this year with only four.
Southern- River,Meigs,Alexander and Wendy's Ohio River Classic
Eastern- Meigs, Manchester, River Valley and Chespeake
Trimble-Alexander, Athens, Nelsonville York and Wood Co. Christian
Federal Hocking-Nelsonville York, Alexander, Morgan and Marettia
Belpre-Fort Frye, Marettia and Warren twice
Waterford-Frontier twice and Fort Frye twice
Miller- New Lexington, Crooksville,Berne Union and Wellston
South Gallia-ISt. Joe twice, Ohio Valley Christian and Symmes Valley
Wahama- wasn't on Tri Valley Conference Schedule

Gotta luv the Athens County Teams battling it out.

The Fed Hock/Alexander games are usually some of the best...Bring it on!

I don't really see how the past records of any of these schools have anything to do with this season! New season ===== NEW RECORDS!! I have faith that the Runnin' Rebels will do just fine in their new league. Will they win every game that they play? Well I can't say that they will but one thing I do know is that the kids have a lot of heart and a lot of talent and win or lose every team they play this year will know that the Rebels have been there!!! GO REBELS!!!!

I think the Tomcats win the Hocking this year. They will have a real good team.

Eastern will have a good team that will win some games, but they lost alot of fire power from last year.
