Another long night for the Redmen. Wheelersburg by as much as they want.
Re: Wheelersburg VS. Rock Hill
Burg in this one BIG, btw if you beat them to bad they will be on here saying you ran up the score even if your JVs are the ones scoring on their varsity, check out the West/RH thread for the proof of this statement.

Re: Wheelersburg VS. Rock Hill
Burg will have starters out by halftime so they will be rested and ready for Minford in week #6. Schankweiler with close to 200 yards yards rushing and 4 TD's by half. I doubt they put up 62 points like West did, but I look for at least 42 to 49 points scored by the Pirates in this game.
Re: Wheelersburg VS. Rock Hill
Another win for Burg against the OVC, but it won't benefit them much at all in the regional race. Probably need to win out to have a shot!
Re: Wheelersburg VS. Rock Hill
Burg can go 7-3 and get in. Two wins over Valley, West, and/or Minford will jump the Burg into the race. Portsmouth will not lose to many more game if any until Ironton.

Isn't this homecoming for the Burg?
Just hope for an injury free game for both teams

Re: Wheelersburg VS. Rock Hill
Good tune up to get ready for Minford. Pass happy, short stuff, nothing deep. Bubbles and funnels. Shank shots would be good!!
Re: Wheelersburg VS. Rock Hill
Sad situation at the hill...from all I can see..they need to bring an outside person in to coach that gets his own outside assistants....as long as politics decide who plays...rock hill will be a sad situation...burg jv's could win this game by as much as they wanted...wasted Friday night

OK T90...I'll listen and give your post a little more credit when you can tell me 2 or 3 players who should be starting that do not currently. The "politics" arguement is old and tired and doesn't hold any weight...less than 3 years ago this team was coming off a nice run of 3 playoff appearences in 5 years...they will be back.
Re: Wheelersburg VS. Rock Hill
Agreed. Just a drop in talent out that way. Coach Knipp is the man for the job.
Re: Wheelersburg VS. Rock Hill
where are all the hillians at telling themselves what a good game they are going to give the burg?????

One thing I knew for sure was that when I looked at this post for the first time this week, you would have something brilliant to say. Of course, I am going to stand by those redmen. Total faith in this team, but they have to work some things out. However, I won't be making any predictions similar to what you made in the Wheelersburg - Ironton game, didn't you predict like 56 to 8? WOW !!tl895 wrote:where are all the hillians at telling themselves what a good game they are going to give the burg?????
Re: Wheelersburg VS. Rock Hill
Here's hoping the Redmen play their hearts out and come away with a respectable showing, win or lose.

Re: Wheelersburg VS. Rock Hill
OK- please help me understand how politics decide the lineup on Friday nights? Really? This riduculous statement has existed for years at the hill, but I need some specifics. How about you lay it out for me so I can understand this, I mean I am up for learning. Further, how about you lay out the starting line up and lets see what you come up with.TIGERS90 wrote:Sad situation at the hill...from all I can see..they need to bring an outside person in to coach that gets his own outside assistants....as long as politics decide who plays...rock hill will be a sad situation...burg jv's could win this game by as much as they wanted...wasted Friday night
