I agree with you...and being a true trajon fan, it is hard for me to say West is the best team Ive seen

but I am being totaly honest,im not trying to hurt anyones feelings, just speaking the truth...I know others will think .."the same thing we thought...'they cant be that much better" but that will keep playing in west favor if teams think that.

as I said,and I will stand behind it, this west team is the best teamIve seen this year, and probably one of the better teams west has ever had.

I really hope the West/Ironton game happens..and of course we all know I will for sure be there...

I think it is funny how some Ironton fans all of a sudden are posting on a west forum and saying we can't hang with Ironton this year. Don't worry you will get your chance to prove that statement. That is if Ironton makes it deep enough to catch up to us. The way it is looking Ironton and West could be seeded high and not meet until maybe a regional championship? Just thinking outloud. There is a ton of football to be played. If either team loses a game it will change the seeding dramatically. The only thing that scares me for West this year is the level of talent they have been playing. I hope they can rise up when they need to. No offense to the other teams we played, I am just calling it how most see it.

Oh there is a couple SOC II schools that I dont think your coaches are going to be looking past......

Dont forget that there is one, maybe two very good defenses that are more than capable of shutting down the West offense.

I did not say that any of our Coaches are looking past any teams? Read my post. We all know Minford has a football team, and so does Valley, Burg, Waverly and the rest of the conference. I have not seen them all play personally this year so I can not comment on them. All I can do is post my opinion just like the rest of us on here.

And your right, so far West has played absolutely nobody. Portsmouth was your biggest challenge and we all see how good they are playing.

Ironton has played a decent schedule, and they have some very tough games coming up. I think if they can get through the season at 9-1, they may very well breeze through Region 15. JMO.

Based on what I saw the last two games, Valley is better. Just saying. West better play harder. They did what they needed to do to win last night but better be ready for a team that can run AND throw the ball all over the field.

I think my comment about West playing Coal Grove instead of another OVC team has been misunderstood?? I was only curious about why , if they have played each other in the past, is it that they don't now? And it was my understanding that CG has been more consistent in the conference with wins?? (could be misinformed?), as the POINTS system works now, wouldn't it make more sense to play them than one of the other OVC teams??? I did not mean any disrespect to any of the other OVC teams. There is always an up year and then a down for most schools, including CG.

If west dont start playing better we will not have to worry about the playoffs we will not make it but I do think when we play in league play you will see a different team they will be focused on what they need to do. It is hard to be focused on the teams we have played this year.

It will be interesting to see how West does against the 3 teams that gave them there conference losses last year. West relied heavily on the running game last season and JMO if they do the same this year those three teams can stop the run . West has to be able to throw the ball in these games to be successful .

I just Hope all the Teams We play the Rest of the Season think the way most of you Folks think on these Threads........ That they Think their Playing the same Team they Played last year.........That's what Portsmouth thought to IMO. As far as looking bad against the weaker Teams; Why Do more and show More than you have to? Just work on some things get the Win and move on to next Week. Coach will have these Boys ready come Falcon Week!!!!!!!!! Go Siders!!!!!!!!!!

I think West played up to "the competition" Friday night? I also think that when the competition level increases, you will see West step it up as well
