TVC-Hocking: Southern (2-3) vs. Wahama (4-0)

So I take it that down-playing the Wahama dominance of the Hocking only proves how bad the TVC-HOCKING is this year?

I've said it repeatedly. Wahama came in at the right time, the league is way, way, down. Let's see in a few years how they fare. Small school leagues go through talent cycles, and this is a down cycle right now.

I don't know if I completely agree with that. Trimble is still a good team. South Gallia is 3-3, normally better than usual record. Southern is historically not very strong, but is 2-2 in conference. Eastern in the past 5 years has not been as strong as they were 10 years ago, so I could consider this year a team on the rise. No denying that Belpre is down, and Fed Hock other than those 2 years where they were solid (06 and 07 I believe), has never really been a household name.

So much for all those experts who make the blanket statement about Ohio football being better than West Virginia football.

Parkersburg South has lost to two Ohio teams that are much smaller than they are so I would say that says something about this debate.

As for this thread, OUCH! is all I can say for Southern. Looks like no playoffs again this year.

I don't see any playoffs for any hocking teams other than Wahama. How's Archbold doing?

Hey I taught you how to spell I see. Archbold is doing great. We have one tough game left, and if we win that one should be hosting in week 11. How is Southern doing by the way? Should we look for them in the playoffs? Or is it time to break out the round balls?
